Ethereal Haunting:
I recently picked up Everyday Heroes by Evil Genius Games, which is a wholesale update of d20 Modern to DnD 5e and from what I've read so far it looks like a solid update.
I got it. I read it... it looks like about half a game, maybe a third of a game.

My only issue so far which is more based of my first reading without any real experience of it would be that the Smart Hero looks complicated and strange compared to the rest but certain archetypes would suit certain games appropriately.
I'd have to know more about what you mean to provide commentary on this, but it looked to me like they're a mastermind of a variety more narrowly defined by what archetype they pick, and that the game creators saw the most obvious way to do this was "I prepared for that possibility".

There doesn't appear to be any games using the system on rpol and the only thread I found was 3 months old so my first question to the site before I actually consider creating and deciding on an Everyday Heroes game is are there any players around? If so what type of game would you like to play?
I really wanted to be a player at one point, but I
really don't like how they do Defense and Armor Saves, or the fact that it's human only, or how the players can only kinda do pseudomagical things. Like I am totally ok with low magic, I just want some of the things to look more like magic than Everyday Heroes did.
