IC: WFRP but using Mythras

Would anyone be up for a game set in the Warhammer world, but using Mythras as the rule system rather than WFRP?

For those who aren't familiar with it, Mythras is a percentile-based system which evolved as an offshoot of Basic Roleplaying (which you may have previously encountered in Call of Cthulhu and/or Runequest).  Character creation is classless (although your career and your culture do place some limits on where you can spend your starting skill points, combat is quick and brutal, and there are multiple magic systems that each have a different feel to them.

If you want to take a look, there's a free quick start book at http://thedesignmechanism.com/...ras%20Imperative.pdf

So, anyone want to give this a try?

Link doesn't seem to work for me.

All of the things you describe intrigue me though, and I'm a big fan of the Warhanner fantasy setting. As long as magic feels appropriately risky and adherent to the schools of magic, or if the group simply doesn't include a wizard, then I'd be down to clown. :)

If you search "Mythras Imperative" you should find your way to it.

There are optional rules for magic to have corrupting side effects, so of course we would mix in some of that.  And there would definitely still be the separate schools of magic; I'm not planning to do the necessary prep work for all of them only to find out that no one is interested in playing a wizard, but if anyone does decide to play one (or move into that mid-game) then it's pretty easy to use the existing rules to put together whichever ones are going to see some use.

Hopefully we can get some more players, but this is enough for me to start setting something up.  I'll post a game link here when it's ready (should be by the end of this week).
