I'd like to see if there's interest for a game I'm thinking about running:

• Dragon Age setting, we'd start with one or two published adventures.
• you can use material from Fantasy Age Core Book
• you can use material from Fantasy Age Companion
• 3-4 characters
• 1-4 posts a week, we'll see

I certainly would like to play it.

Just checking would using the fantasy age 2e book be OK.... No problem if not I have both 1st Ed and the companion as well

No problem I have all the books and happy to use whatever rules you want to :)

I would be interested in playing 1e as well!  Will the starting abilities be determined, as described in the rules?

Every participant (including me) rolls a set for abilities, post it, then everyone can choose whichever set they want.

Interesting concept, I have never heard of that being done like that before.  I assume the option to swap any two abilities is still in play.  It does seem to start everyone off on a even footing without resorting to a Standard Array or Point Buy
system.  Hopefully we'll soon get a fourth player interested in playing.  So we can get things in motion.

You can arrange the abilities any way, I don't like forcing random mechanical stuff on the PCs.
