City of Mist is largely a writing game where you create a character with a few words here and few power words there. It is a game of interactive Roleplaying. It is a system where you are a gateway to a god, a discipline, a situation, hero, story or urban legend, and you live a life of two worlds, the regular day to day life of humanity, and then the life of your gateway, where you deal with threats to the city, where you find yourself learning about what you are.

What is the City ? No one knows, while some remembers having come from somewhere else, no one who has awakened has ever left.
How did you call to your gateway ? What power did you touch, how did you attract it was it just something that happened to you, did you find an old book, did you step into a circle who what and how. All apart of creation and the becoming.

What powers do you have, they are always related to your gateway, are you a god, a monster of legend, an urban legend given form ? It's all about how you view it.

I figured I would put this out here and see if anyone else knows the system and has any interest in it.

I have played CoM for years (Whenever I have the opportunity to play/run it) and it's become one of my all time favorites. I always felt it would work very well in a PBP environment. Would be very interested to see if there are others that have played as well on here.

I would play this! As I mentioned if you run it.

Very intrigued by it.  Haven't played, but have played other PBTA games.

I just pledged for Legends of the Mist which I plan to run once it's out. I'd love to play City of the Mist. I don't own the books but the system itself seems easy enough to figure out.

Have run CoM 2 or 3 times now and very much enjoy the system.
