For players that want a quick start, and are a little overwhelmed with all the new rules, i've created a few Archetypes for you to look over and use.

Standard Mech Warriors are considered 'average'.  They start with base stats, that will fit them comfortably into a mech between 30 to 40 tons.

Bug Warriors are Mechwarriors that pilot 20 ton mechs.  They will only every pilot 20 ton mechs and may not pilot heavier mechs.  For this limitation, they receive more character points.

Lyrans are fond on size.  The larger the better.  This being the case, "Lyran" mech warriors are the sort that seek to be as large and dangerous as possible as soon as possible.

Standard Tech Warriors are pilots that are tech savy and enjoy tinkering with their mechs.  They pilot the most heavily modified mechs, best scouts and are the most likely candidates for Electronic Warfare
