Re: Log 2-28

You exit the room and walk a short distance.  The corridor turns sharply to the north, and you are faced with the following options of paths:  two on the left or two on the right:

Bartja speaks softly, just in case there are more cyborslugs or cyboreorna waiting for them just around the corner.  "Those passages are big, two meters wide if my estimation is correct.  Plenty large enough to have more of those slugs or zombies roaming them.  Are we ready to take the initiative and blast them before they can get off more disruptive shots?" he asks, eyeing the first passage they will have to "clear" on their right.

Sergi whispers back...

"Groovy! You want me to take a peek round that first corner to the right?"

You noticed that the alarms went off when the brain was destroyed.

"You say 'shame', I say 'damn lucky'.  I, for one, hope you're right."  Becka is smirking but trying not to be *too* smug about it.

Re: Log 2-28

Peeking around the first corner on the right, you see that the hallway goes about 6 meters before ending in a door.  The wall is slightly slanted, as it is in room #8.

Sergi nods back and proceeds down the corridor, slowly, making sure his giro pistol is aimed squarely at the door.

Lerku lets the weapons experts take the lead.  "I'd rather use my scanner on what's behind the door, not this gun."

Re: Log 2-28

You move into the room marked "10."  It is another of the slavebot chambers identical to the previous two you entered.  This one is empty, obviously the home of the three you just took down.  There are two other doors exiting, one to the north and one to the south.

Re: Log 2-28

OOC:  ERRATA-- I mistakenly referred to the slavebots as "cyboslugs."  The cyboslugs are the worm things that were shooting fire out of their mouths and the slavebots are the Eorna cyborg slaves.

Sergi looks from door to door

"Right then, what's it to be, north or south?  Or do we go back the way we came?"

Frisky says, "South, I think.  North will probably lead back the direction we came from."  He opens the southern door and peers through.
