Log 2-28

OOC:  I just posted a refresher on the healing rules in Star Frontiers (for wounds anyway).  Please be detailed in what treatment is requested/administered so that I can properly figure out what happens.  Also, note that you have a limited supply of biocort, and one dose is required for each fraction of 10 points healed.

All together, the party puts its supplies together (along with the doctor) and finds that there are 28 doses of biocort total to use.

You look into the room marked "8," where the eorna slavebots have just come from.

Inside the chamber, you see three cots with stabilizing fields which appear to have put the slavebots into a type of hypnotic slumber until the room was disturbed.  There is also a supply of food and water on the shelves, although it is of sathar origin and you don't know what it is exactly.

The other strange thing about this room are the four things against the wall.  They look like tall lockers in a way, but with sensors and a computer keypad on the front.  They have windows, and you hear the low humming of electricity running through them.  All of them are empty except one, and it dawns on you what these are.

These are some sort of cryogenic chambers to preserve the Sathar's captives until they can be transformed into the slavebots.  What shocks you most is that the one which is not empty contains a human male, frozen in place.  From the looks of it, he has not yet been turned into a slavebot.

Someone with computer skills might be able to release him safely.

Re: Log 2-28

Bartja approaches the cryogenic unit in which the human sleeps and stands staring dumbly at the form within.  "Most remarkable!  An alien freeze field if I had to guess.  Maybe they travelled this way before the Void was discovered?

I have a basic knowledge of computers, but this is alien technology.  Anyone here specialize in computers by chance?"

Re: Log 2-28

Frisky says, "I'm pretty good with computers."  He tries to see if he can safely deactivate the device.

Inta looks in interest at the man. "Most likely he will turn out to be gay", she grumbled to herself.

Becka looks to Inta and simply shook her head.

Bartja smiles at Inta.  "How do you feel about inter-racial relations?"  It was only a half joke, although he did find her lack of body hair and skin flaps to be slightly repugnant.

Inta eyes Bartja all over. "No", she says quietly. "It hasn't occured to me."

Re: Log 2-28

Frisky successfully gets the computer to unlock the stasis chamber.  The human stumbles to the ground, weak as he starts to gain consciousness, and seemingly very confused as he starts to get his bearings.
