Taking careful aim from behind her straw dummy, Desiraye sets her SEU output to nine (9) and fires at the Quickdeath.

Desiraye and Frisky hit the Quickdeath, doing massive damage.  Everyone else misses.

It is wounded, but it pounces in the direction of Frisky.  It will reach next round.

Sergi arrives in the jetcopter.

OOC: Sorry for the delays.  I'm not sure exactly what everyone is doing or where they're at, so I'm trying to interpolate.  Right now, you have one quickdeath caught, and one attacking you.  It is attacking those on the ground and ignores the jetcopter for the moment.  (Of course, no one in the jetcopter has wounded it yet.)

Desiraye will take another shot at the quickdeath set at 9 SEU and using an aiming bonus if still applicable from behind her dummy.

S'Krllk will take a straw dummy and prepare to throw it in front of the quickdeath when it looks close enough to pounce. He hasn't picked up a weapon, yet, but perhaps he can help by distracting the beastie.

S'Krllk throws the dummy.  The quickdeath zeroes in on it and charges!  The dummy is deader than a doornail.

Meanwhile, Desiraye, Sergi and Bartja hit the quickdeath with their weapons.  It flops over onto the ground, dead.

The other quickdeath is momentarily stunned and in your trap.

Desiraye stands up from behind her dummy and begins to walk over towards the pit trap where the other quickdeath is stunned in.  She looks to the others and asks, "OK, we took one out.  How do we knock out and transport the other one back to the Edistakei?  I'm thinking doze grenades and a lot of rope.  Any other suggestions?"

Desiraye slings her laser rifle and gets the rope ready.  "WE're going to need everyone's help on this!  Tangler's and Doze grenades only!  I'm thinking one or two Tangler's followed by same in Doze grenades?"

It takes 2 tangler grenades to get the quickdeath to where you feel comfortable with it.  You start tossing doze grenades at it whenever it begins to wake up.  You tie it to the jet copter and transport it back to the Edestekai.

You meet the high priest of the Edestekai.  They are very much impressed.  Not only did you get it it transported to them, but the Quickdeath is completely unharmed.

"You have proven yourself worth," he says.  "The gods smile upon you.  We will join you in the battle against the demons from the sky."

You use a total of 5 doze grenades to keep the quickdeath down.  The high priest is fascinated by your doze grenades.  He offers to make a trade.  For 10 of your doze grenades, he will give you each a spear-weapon they have developed using the quickdeath poison tail darts.  He shows you one of them.  It is like a cross between a crossbow and a blowgun.  Each of you can be given 30 darts to load in it, and they will give you more if you return after they have begun "milking" the new quickdeath.

6 DAYS UNTIL THE ARRIVAL OF THE SATHAR FLEET

You have one group left to convince to join the alliance:  The Mechanons.  To learn more about how to find them, you will need to report back to the Eorna.  Surely, they will be excited about your success with the other three races.

Go ahead and update your characters or save your XP as desired.  Remember, it is up to you to add these to your character sheets and notify me of any changes.

OOC: I don't mind taking the weapons they offer in trade as long as everyone else is good with it before we leave?

Desiraye then turns to the rest of the group assembled, "Three down, one to go!  We need to get back and find out where we've got to go next!  Our time is running out."
