The kurabanda air attack option arrives!
The Kurabanda have launched themselves from the tops of the ruins overlooking the battlefield and glided over enemy units, where they now drop hand grenades as they fly over. (Next round, they will try to land behind the enemy and open fire with bows and arrows, but they will be helpless for one round first, as they must remove their hang gliders and prepare their bows and arrows. A total of 8 Kurabanda are flying overhead.
There are 10 total Sathar with the replacements in place, plus the one powering up the giant robot. 5 aim at you and 5 aim at the Eorna.
Then you realize whom the Sathar are aiming at...the one who is trying to stop them from powering up the cybodragon.
They fire...and 3 of them hit Bartja, for a total damage of 126. Bartja falls from the recoiless rifle, dead!
Two Eorna are hit, one of them dying from the Sathar blasts.
Grenades fall in the midst of the Sathar...
Three Sathar die from the falling grenades. Due to the splash effect, three others are wounded. One of those dies, leaving only four Sathar left.
Desiraye takes cover.
You fire your lasers...
Kri'lik, Desiraye, and Becka each hit their targets. One more Sathar goes down, leaving only three Sathar, one of which is very wounded, plus the one finishing powering up the cybodragon.
The technician finishes powering up the cybodragon and turns to aim his laser rifle at you.
The cybodragon turns in your direction, and you get a good look at it for the first time:
You have heard of the Sathar using cybodragons before and know a little about them:
They are enormous cybots, apparently part reptilian, part robot. This hideous creation of the Sathar has a huge metallic head with eyes that blaze forth laser beams. The half creature, half robot monster is huge, larger even than the truck that just replaced its fuel cells--two or three times as large. Flames shoot from its "mouth" which is full of horrid metallic teeth. The creature's appearance suggests the name: cybodragon!

Cybodragons were given their name because they have
flamethrowers installed inside their mouths. The
flamethrower has 10 charges. Each charge does 3d10 points

flamethrower are 10 meters = point blank, 20 meters =
short, 30 meters = medium, 40 meters = long, and 50
meters = extreme.
In melee, the cybodragon uses its claws,
bite, and various metal tentacles to do 10d10 points of
damage on a successful attack.
Cybodragons are made by the Sathar who use the
Cybodragons to support their combat troops. Cybodragons
are also often found guarding Sathar installations.
