Laying upon the bed is a brillant wedding gown.

The priestess waits on the cleric, smiling "I had it custom made from a previous time. More elven. You know I have connections." She smiles.

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 1):

Cumarinda gasps and looks over the dress, her eyes bright with wonder. She gingerly picks it up and looks upon it with wonder, like a child looking at their first new toy.

"Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou," she said reverently and sincerely, her words almost pouring from her lips, while she smiled as if having been given a divine gift.

After a momentary pause, her smile fades a little and she blushes as she turns to the High Priestess. "In my mind, I know that there are many rational grounds against my marriage to Fenris. He would naturally outlive me, he's rough, he doesn't trust easily, he doesn't follow any god, in many ways he's more wild creature than male elf. Is this a good thing? Am I about to do something very stupid?" she asks.

The woman goes to rest her hands upon the clerics cheeks and stares at her intently "Does it matter how long he will live? He is indeed rough but how many times has he saved you? What about his friends? The man took down a mindflayer and looks like he can take down more. Tough and rough. Obviously he trusts you. Seems like he was missing and you kept him alive. Not the cleric you. Not the holy you. You. I have met many people who follow no gods. Are they less then anyone else? Of course not. Everyone believes in different things, wants different things. Dreams of different things. I have friends who don't agree with me at times but that is why we get along. I value their views and vice versa. It brings people together." She keeps the hands upon Cumarinda's face "Go with your heart. Do you love him? Will he make you happy?"

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 3):

Cumarinda looks thoughtfully into the High Priestess' eyes, her own bright with tears of joy.
"Yes, I wholly believe that I love him. I think that his strength compliments me where I am weak. I believe that he cares for me as much as he can. My heart feels this, wants this, my mind tells me that being his wife and mate will not be easy. But if I always chose the easiest path, I would not be here."

With her decision re-affirmed she speaks again to the High Priestess,"We need time together before we make a family. Do you know the ways to both improve the chances of child bearing and those to temporarily remove those chances?"

The priestess seems somewhat surprised at her questions "You should as Fenris but being a priestess of Pelor and with my current position I have little need of well..." She pauses "One goes by your heart and I have heard you are to wed someone similar to your father. Course Fenris is not like anyone I have met. Bold, brutish but caring. He's a strange man but I can feel he is the right one for you. He's probably the strongest person I have met, probably more so then the paladins within. I wouldn't want to be on his bad side." The woman smiles "To temporarily remove it well don't do that." Its like talking to her mom "I do have a surprise for you awaiting outside the garden." She holds up the dress "Now lets get this upon you."

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 5):

Cumarinda looks confused at the High Priestess' reply. “Forgive me for not understanding. You say I am to wed someone similar to my father?  I don't remember my father. I don't think I've seen him since before my mother died to protect me.” she says while following the High Priestess. “Please understand that Fenris and I have many things to do before we are near ready to have a family. That is why I need the knowledge of the best ways to bear children and those ways to delay bearing children.”

She paused and then nodded, still following the directions of the High Priestess. “Let us get me dressed and more prepared to be a wife and mate to my Fenris. Also, my curiosity hungers to see this surprise you speak of.”

Falling silent, she makes certain that she is spotless and fresh before putting on the offered wedding outfit. Once she has it on, she asks the High Priestess, "How do I look?"

The door opens and in walks a familiar face. Bowing to each of them, he pulls off his hood.

Lars! He smiles as he sees the wedding gown upon Cumarinda "You look amazing. Truly. Fenris will be in awe."

The priestess puts her hand over her hips "You were supposed to wait. Well then, that is your surprise. Marriage entails for someone close to you to walk you down the aisle. I felt Lars was the best choice. I hope you agree."

How did he even get there?

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 7):

Pleasantly surprised, Cumarinda stepped forward to fully embrace her old friend.

"Thank you for coming, I'm so happy to see you!" she exclaimed as she happily greeted the wizard with a loving hug.

Looking back and forth between the High Priestess and Lars she stepped back and said, "I think we've made everyone else wait long enough. Please, lets go and get me properly married!"

"I think Lars will walk you down the awhile. Perhaps it is adaquate? I assume Fenris will not mind." The priestess smiles and Lars nods his head in agreement.

"Rather surprised. Marrying someone that is so different, but I can tell it was the right call. I don't know the man well but he seems to be defensive of you. I am glad he returned yet I do not know what occured. Pardon, that is for another day. You look beutiful." Lars smiles.

"Thank you, Lars. He's my love and my other strength. I need him to know that he's mine and I am his. We were blessed with a second chance to be together, a second chance to fight evil and help the innocent and good together. I am she who softens his hardness and he is my armor and sword."
she replied.

"Thank you for the compliment, I hope that everyone else thinks so. Shall we go?" she concluded eagerly.

"Of course." Lars steps aside and holds his arm to her. He smiles for a moment and the priestess takes the lead to the garden.

Cumarinda smiles happily and takes Lars' arm. She walks alongside him as they follow the priestess to the garden.
