There's only two: Raiders and Last Crusade.

Imwith the number of other ladies compared to men perhaps our society isn't a patriarchal swamp and thus my fears of a loveless marriage might be unfounded.

You can't just skip Temple. It's not great but it is a fun romp at times and there are far woorse movie attrocities...and thinking about it they also tend to involve Lucas.

Evelyn, such men around Mina tend to have lightning accidents or get caught in flash floods. If that fails just cut their hearts out.

Ye gods Kate Capshaw annoyed me to no end in Temple, especially when compared to Karen Allen and I wanted to push Short Round off something very tall.

And, yeah. Someone ran a stop sign and I hit them pretty head on going pretty fast. They were in a big truck and it was fine enough that they drove off without even stopping. And I had to leave my new job working in an EBD unit. After break I'll be doing support for mainstreamed ESE kids at an elementary school.

Oh, it is likely our characters know each other since Mina is about as high ranking as one can be outside of the royal family. If you want more than just cursory pm me.

I am a bit confused about the fact that there are two scenes going on at the same time with the same people.

Hence I'm nowhere this is certainly a unique gameplay style.

Can we, perhaps, discuss what we want as sort of norms when playing?

For a game with this premise location based tends to be my preferred. Only for something like DnD or Shadowrun do event based threads really work for me.

And I also prefer keeping a pretty standard day and time block and people only posting in a single thread.

I was just running with it certain that all would be revealed but I do agree that a linear time with blocks of time and location makes things far more coherent. Perhaps the odd flashback now and then.

In general, magic is feared and hated, to the point where the Queen herself was driven from the kingdom as a witch.

Byren Abbey is trying to change that, but progress is slow, and a lot of people don't associate the "holy miracles" of the Red Sisters with the "witchcraft" of secular casters.

If Kei does anything supernatural, it generally isn't any more immediately obvious than the effect he creates (no hocus pocus or hand waving is involved); not sure how that would affect people's perceptions of his abilities.

Rumors of my demise have been not entirely unfounded.

This has been something of a Hellweek+ for me. I've lurched from low point to low point and depression has been kicking my ass every step of the way. It's been incredibly frustrating because I've known pretty much exactly what I wanted to say in my latest post for quite some time now but haven't even been able to bring myself to get so much of a character of it down. It's not been much fun.

I'm tremendously sorry for keeping you waiting so long, Adelida.
