The battle starts in earnest while Kathra is still momentarily distracted. Recovering from her confusion, she realizes that The Enemy will not be charging through the door towards them, so she charges towards her foe.
She remembered someone saying something about a drake, and assumed they were saying that the drake should be taken out first. So she heads towards the drake, warhammer raised high, shield aloft, chainmail ringing with each step, a warcry ululating from her throat.

It was one of the old songs, faintly overheard from her place locked in the wagon. A bard had been singing at the campfire her father and family had joined on one of their many failed trading missions. She, of course, had been told to keep out of sight, so that if these merry singers turned out to be bandits, she would be able to save her family.
Her voice cracked and wandered across the notes. It had been decades since she'd raised her voice so high, since she had felt so free.
