The game will begin in a small town, Ringgold Ga, just off of highway 75 south of the Ga/Tn state lines. It is near Chattanooga, TN and north of Dalton, Ga. It mid-summer, some time in July, and very hot. And very humid. you have to love the southeast in the summer. More humidity than coastal Florida, hot as the Texas panhandle, and alternating between too much rain or not enough in regular bouts.

The characters can know one another or not. They can be a very detailed group or become one. In Ringgold there is a small group of survivors, Christian based folks, that is welcoming to all people. It has gotten them robbed at times, and gotten two of their members killed. But, they persist anyways.

Think about how your character came to be in Ringgold. Also, think about where your character would be headed? To Ringgold specifically or just stopped there in their travels?

In this game the characters will face undead, starvation, dehydration, exposure, insanity, violence, and injury. It will focus on real survival issues as well as hostilities and zombies to create a more unique survival experience in the post apocalyptic setting.

Reverend John Allen - the leader in town, a religious man with a very worldly view of life, known for respecting others, offering good advice, and being a golden gloves champ and boxing instructor for at risk boys

Sheriff Nathan Potter - a sheriff from Meigs County Tennessee who happened to be in town visiting his ailing mother when the dead began to rise, a former military policeman and infantryman who became a career LEO, he is known for facing the undead in any situation, always being prepared, and pulling off head shots out to fifty yards with his .357 magnum revolver.

Bob Cole - a local doctor living out his retirement with his wife, they had moved back to their native Ringgold after his career as an oncologist that ended with a decade of teaching and practicing medicine at John Hopkins, he is known for dry with, sarcasm, and an in depth knowledge of holistic medicines and procedures.

Nancy Ferguson - a local celebrity, Nancy went off to college and came back seven years later with titles, belts, and endorsements in the world of women's mixed martial arts, she bought a facility in Chattanooga to train others and sell her line of training clothing and gear but lived on the outskirts of Ringgold, she is Reverend Allen's daughter in-law, a title she keeps even though her husband had since died.

Mindy Carver - A sixteen year old whom inherited her grandfather's estate, otherwise known as the Ringgold World War II Memorial Museum and Memorabilia Center where it is believed their are more weapons and ammunition stored than in all the homes of northwestern Georgia, only nobody ventures in without caution due to the 'explosive' security system.
