THE GM TALKS ABOUT: Character classes and TYRANTS classes
Here is a list of the TREMBLE, TYRANTS! classes:
Barbarian, Conniver, Crafter, Hunter, Fighter, Shadow, Shaman, Mage, Cleric
Here is a list of how some traditional D&D/Dungeon World classes translate:
Barbarian: Barbarian
Conniver
Crafter: Artificer
Hunter
Fighter: Fighter
Shadow: Rogue
Shaman: Druid
Mage: Wizard/whatever
Cleric: Cleric
All righty, you say, that's obvious enough... but what about others?
--Ranger: Probably Hunter, but maybe Shaman if you want a more supernatural-type Ranger, or the GM can work up something in-between for you
--Bard: I suggest Conniver, or Mage if you want a more magic-y Bard, or the GM can work up something in-between for you
--Paladin: I suggest Fighter, or Cleric if you want a more miracle-y type Paladin, or the GM can work up something in-between for you
--Warlock: Talk to your GM about your patron. Obviously Mage or Cleric would probably be best. Maybe we can work out something in between if you want.
--Monk: Another sort-of-in-between class. Should definitely have the Living Weapon ability like a Barbarian, but otherwise should be kind of like a Cleric or maybe Fighter or Shadow? Basically as a GM I would ask "do you want a monk who is more 1. just a badass martial artist fighter, 2. a holy man, very strong in body, dedicated to a power who can help him or her to do miracles like in KUNG FU HUSTLE (and maybe SHAOLIN SOCCER) (cleric), 3. or more of a master of quiet movement and stealth, running on clotheslines and jumping from rooftop to rooftop or tree to tree (Shadow)? Whichever way you want it, I can work it out with you...
--Arcane Duelist (Dungeon World): Obviously, something between a Mage and a Fighter. I can work something out with you if you want something like this...
