I am going to make the assumption that at some stage all of you have played Dungeons & Dragons and you are familiar with the term "Wandering Monsters"

This thread will be used to announce this campaign version of that concept, a random, unplanned skirmish.

These will happen at random moments throughout the war and without warning.  As we have two teams of fairly active players these encounters will only occur for a 24 hour period.  Only one player from each team will be required for these scenarios.  If either team fails to participate they will forfeit that skirmish, loosing their ship/s and the opposing team will gain free ship/s.

Ships eliminated in these scenarios will be gone for good, any ships that survive these scenarios will become part of that team's fleet.  None of these ships can be replaced once destroyed.

Sathar ships detected in the Dixon's Star system.  The Nebula Class yacht Ch't'kl is under attack from a pair of Sathar fighters.

Hostile ships have been detected in the Kizk-Kar system.  Captain Yorb of the Gaston, a Belvedere class yacht has sent an SOS to all UPF vessels in the area after coming under fire from two hostile vessels, believed to be Moonbright Stinger class vessels.
