Gotcha. So want to find the person who is in charge of the docks not the guards wandering around at times correct?

So everyone knows if your a 'member' of a religion like the paladin and the cleric you got some sway with the guards but they don't need to help you. In seniority, they probably got the numbers and whatnot. If say Isacc did somethiing wrong and got to his temple, the guards will deal with Isaac's boss (es) so to speak so that might save him depending on the issues/why the guards want to arrest you, ect. Say if Isaac kills a begger and the guards see it-his bosses won't help.

While not all that intelligent, I figure my PC would expect the person in charge of the docks to be aware of any seizures or unusul activity, and at least provide some direction.

Well depends on how he is approached, his demeanor, ect. And he's probably not a 'guard' or anything but probakly knows a thing or two of course about the docks. Doesn't mean someone can't get something in and have it be unknoticed by him. You just know the guy that was supposed to take it never returned and you know the size of the 'box'.

Pondered running a 5e game. I had a deleted Christmas Story, Walking Dead, Hallow Eve (basically it has like Crystal Lake involved, Freddy Kreuger, ect like all the main badies), or Skyrim.

They are guards for the office. Same outfits. Probably trained with them.

Yup. Its a open door but got 2 guards on either side and a small area. Its straight down as your in the airship area.

Geez. Groups lyng more then I am lol :) I don't think they even saw anyone infected if there is anyone. Could be a false thing.

Plus you walked in, insulted him several times because he didn't want to give you want you wanted (which is against a Paladins code anyways) did his job because no one knows what is in it. Yeah he's a jerk :) He doesn't believe there's a plague. Heck Pike doesn't believe it but is looking around for the group.

Kisaiya has no problem lying, if it is necessary.  Of course, being able to fly would be nice...

Nothing the Paladin said or did was an outright lie. He's just going with what he considers important, and he wasn't going to take the whatever from the guy, just wanted him to give it over out of the goodness of his heart - or pocketbook. The metal door that came door is a like a gate - not solid but made up of bars that one could thrust a sword through, if needed?

Yeah you could do it but you would have such a negative.

The guy doesn't believe there is a plague. In his eyes you guys and gal entered, wanted something that he didn't agree with yet he's the 'bad guy' besides he's defending himself. Course dropping the cleric to her doom well...yeah. He did give you the option of telling him whats in the box but hard to know.

And just the way he said it was rude to the guy. In his eyes you just want something and not giving anything in return. Plus goes against his job. Course he's done things that goes against it lol :)

You guys, the gate into the office, then the trap. So your right. Shoving a sword through would be tough. Dagger, maybe. Its like a secruity gate at the mall. You can't tell if she fell or not. Gate is in the way. Not sure of if there is a room below you or not. Could be air, could be another room. Kis knows where it goes but she's not in a frame of mind to tell :)

Your not a engineer so hard to tell lol :) By looking at it, could be steel. Maybe iron. Or some other type. Not wood.

Actually no one has a clue if Xander is up to. Maybe he left. No one knows he can fly.

Yeah, there's a short distance between fun and tedium.  But with only two, that puts a big pressure on you.  So I don't know that this is sustainable.

Could redo the game or something?

Certainly.  sometimes a soft or hard reboot is needed.

Sometimes that works.  I'm willing.

Got some ideas:
1. The city isn't floating and the group is hired to track down the Ripper who has killed several people (very similar to this). Eveyone will keep the current levels.

2. The group is evil. They are hired to go up against the good people (still working on it)

3. Keep the game going. I can post tonight or tommorow. The woman Xander is looking for is linked to the current situation.

Getting back into the feel of the game is tough to be honest but I will work on it. The paladin rubbed me the wrong way :( I do like the group going on 'missions' from the Critial Role people lol.

Well want to do a evil game instead?

I feel like Bucko is more in the Neutral area, his friends are friends and he shoots the things that need shooting.

Pursuing a killer might be interesting for a stealthy group of PC's trying to find clues and catch her in the act or something like that sounds fun!

I don't see evil.  Borderline is okay, but chaotic is more my style.  So if you want an evil game, I'm out.

1. Who is the man that tried to kill the cleric?
2. Where is Xander's friend?
3. What is causing the plague even if there is one?

Think thats the major issues.

Well first off there is no 'hitching post'. Why would you put a construct dog on a hitching post?

You are in a city. I stated it several times to everyone. You aren't outside. Well technically you are but its a flying city. You can't 'leave' the city unless you can fly, got a airship or some other way to get around.

Kinda hard to run a game for 2 people and 1 NPC. Hoping to get more people but not sure. Put out several ads. If anyone knows of people would want to join, feel free :)

X-Man game I plan on is going to be interesting. Don't need to have a long list of powers and a huge histroy. Don't need to even have powers can be a regular guy that uses other stuff like Iron Man. Or perhaps your good at doing technical stuff. Lots available.

You could even be someone who looks like a goblin lol

Cool. Yeah its in the beginning stages and whatnot. Its after the X-Men so looking for a 'new team' with some of the old characters making a appearance. Or having their kids teach, maybe having them teach as well. School is getting 'renovated' but looks the same. You don't have to look human-ton of mutants don't :)

I think it is the end here too.  We have no direction and no players.  And you can't run the game with an NPC.  So thank you for the game, it was fun while it lasted.
