It was late afternoon, and the buildings of the poor quarter were becoming canyons of shadows. Dinkar and his harem were sitting on the stoop of an abandoned building, trying to look tough enough to stake it out for sleeping purposes without actually having to fight for it.

Raga scrunches up next to the building and crosses her arms across her knees, trying to look inconspicuous.
