Playbook: Animal-person

You are an animal-person-- an anthropomorphic animal standing somewhere between four and four-and-a-half feet tall (no matter what your species). You can also turn into an actual animal, though. When you do, your clothing and gear disappears, and reappears when you change back. There is no way to explain this, except magic I guess?

You also seem to be... a kid. Like, your voice sounds like that of a kid. It's the same for your companions. You just don't exactly seem to be an adult yet.

CHOOSE ONE OF THESE ANIMAL CHOICES:

Animal-person:
--parrot, rabbit, capybara, raccoon, otter, frog, red panda, ferret

Extra-Agile animal-person:
--housecat, squirrel, capuchin monkey

Non-Agile animal-person:
--sloth, turtle, chameleon

Regular animal-person (neither Extra-Agile nor Non-Agile):

Your stats are:

--Agile:
--Insightful:
--Charming:
--Confident:

Mark one as +1, one as -1, and the other two are 0.

IF you chose an animal listed as Agile, you get a +2 in Agile, but must put a -1 on an extra thing instead of one of the zeros. So your final starting stats will be Agile: +2, and then two -1s and one 0.

IF you chose an animal listed as Non-Agile, you get a -1 in Agile, and you can't change that (until you level up), but you get an extra +1 elsewhere. So your final starting stats will be: Agile: -1 and then two +1s and one 0 for the other stats.

Ѻ A recurring daydream about the other you who does not know of you, and can never know of you.

You have very few memories of this world. One is of a place. Choose one of these, and give me one sentence describing the memory that involves it:
--a memory of a statue
--a memory of a ship
--a memory of a forest
--a memory of beauty
--a memory of a tower
--a memory of a giant
--a memory of an island

You also have one other memory of this world: of a person. Choose one of these, and give me one sentence describing the memory that involves that person:

--a memory of a peddler (an animal-person (of any species you can imagine), or a robot, or a mummy)

--a memory of a little kid (an animal-person (of any species you can imagine), or a robot, or a mummy)

--a memory of a knight (an animal-person (of any species you can imagine))

--a memory of a pirate (an animal-person (of any species you can imagine))

--a memory of an artist or musician (an animal-person (of any species you can imagine), or a robot, or a mummy)

--a memory of someone who is lost (an animal-person (of any species you can imagine), or a robot, or a mummy)

You also have one (non-magical) skill. Add an extra +1 to your rolls when they involve that skill.

Skill list:
--parrot: flight, but only for short distances (30 yards)
--rabbit: jumping (15 yards) OR listening (choose one)
--capybara: swimming (but not far underwater-- they float too well)
--raccoon: opening things//getting into things
--otter: breaking things//breaking things open
--frog: swimming OR leaping (20 yards)
--red panda: climbing
--housecat: leaping (10 yards), plus never get hurt when falling
--squirrel: leaping (20 feet) and climbing
--ferret: dancing (it can confuse others!)
--capuchin monkey: climbing
--sloth: climbing (very well, but slowly)
--turtle: you get 4 HP to start with, everyone else gets 3
--chameleon: natural camouflage!

What sort of place are you looking for?
--a land of great bounty, where the trees offer endless fruit, fish leap from the
rivers, and no one ever has to work
--You seek where the voices of the countless small and forgotten spirits are loudest and clearest.
--You seek the furnace or workshop where nothing can compare to the objects made there.
--You seek a place that scrapes against the very sky itself, and from up there you can see more than anywhere else in the world.
--You seek the home of the heart of the world itself.
--You seek a place older than anywhere else in the world, that carries secrets from an
ancient time.
--You're just looking for a place that feels like home to you. Describe it with one word.

You may have a ROLE, or a SPIRIT. Whichever you choose, choose from below.

ROLES: If you choose a ROLE, then choose one of these: The Diva or The Sly:

The Diva:

You can always (choose one, get a token when you do it):
● find beauty and perfection
● take the spotlight from the scene (give a token to the other player)
● show pride in your accomplishments

Your uniqueness is (choose one, spend a token to do it):
● you’re an amazing artist
● a mark on your body that gives you power
● you have a calming aura

The Sly:

You always have (choose one, get a token when you use it)
● a pair of lockpicks
● tools and spices for cooking a yummy meal
● some coins

When needed, you also have (choose one, spend a token to do it)
● a great lie at the tip of the tongue
● lots of pent-up anger
● a secret that is very relevant to the moment

The world is filled with tiny spirits, more common than ghosts. One has attached itself to you. If you chose a spirit, choose one of these:

--spirit of cobwebs
Gives you the power to: suddenly have some cobwebs drift into someone's face (possibly distracting them for a moment).

--spirit of blowing kisses
Gives you the power to: You can tell someone to look at you. If they want to look away, they’re going to need to successfully make a roll.

--spirit of a very old oak tree
Gives you the power to: magically support something or someone in danger of collapse, at least temporarily (this is magical, so it applies to ANY kind of collapse: physical, mental, or emotional (you don't have to make a roll to support someone this way)...

--spirit of suddenly finding exactly what you were looking for
Gives you the power to: whenever you charge headfirst into trouble (or potential trouble), take an extra +1 forward toward that roll (or if you just charge right into potential trouble without rolling, take +1 on your next roll).

--A spirit of saplings
Gives you the power to: when you ask the world around you for guidance, no matter what they tell you, add an extra +1 to your roll. If you actually do what someone tells you, add +1 to your next two rolls. You can also help someone else ask the world around you for guidance, and they will get +1 to their next roll.

--spirit of the first snowfall of the year
Gives you the power to: make the temperature drop for as long as you concentrate. If you push it, you can even make it start snowing. (Note: cold-blooded animals will feel really extra cold if they aren't dressed properly for this).

--spirit of four-leaf clovers
Gives you the power to: give someone (including you) +1 on their next roll... but it means YOU take -1 on YOUR next roll.

Finally, you have one memory of being a human on Earth in the 21st century. In no more than two sentences, tell me about it.
