The gear listed below is taken from GURPS Low-Tech (LT) and GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 1: Adventurers (DF). This is not a complete list of available items. Ask me if there’s something not on the list that you’re interested in. Or for details not included in this list.

Modifiers
Not all gear is standard gear. If it is crafted better or worse than the standard, the classification of those differences will be listed here.

CF means Cost Factor. A standard item has CF = 1. After you have added your modifier, you calculate your total CF. You then multiply that value with the cost of the standard item for the total cost of your modified item.

Beading: It works as Beading from LT 38. CF +2 or +8.
Cheap: It works as Cheap from LT 14. CF -0.5.
Cloth of Gold/Silver: It works as Cloth of Gold/Silver from LT 38. CF +3 or +30.
Disguised: It works as Disguised from LT 14. CT +1 or +4.
Dyeing: It works as Dyeing from LT 38. CF +1.5, +6, or +30.
Enamel: It works as Enamel from LT 38. CF +2, +4, or +10.
Etching: It works as Etching from LT 38. CF +1.5 or +4.
Expensive: It works as Expensive from LT 14. CF +1.
Figurative Painting: It works as Figurative Painting from LT 38. CF +2, +4, or +10.
Fringe, Feather, or Fur Trim: It works as Fringe, Feather, or Fur Trim from LT 38. CF +1.5 or +4.
Gilding: It works as Gilding from LT 38. CF +0.5, +2, or +20.
Inlay: It works as Inlay from LT 38. CF varies.
Quality: It works as Quality from LT 14. CF +0, +4, or +19.

Chemistry
Torrium have the best chemists in Remulus. The list below is what’s generally available. Added notes indicate what Torrish chemists can do.

Alcohol: Ethyl Alcohol and Heat Distillation up to 70% alcohol content, though Torrish distillations can reach 81%.
Acids: Acetic Acid, through oxidation of alcohol and Inorganic Acids. Torrish chemists could make acetic acids with a concentration of up to 36% and they could make Aqua Regia.
Pigments: Mineral and Organic.
Other Chemicals: Salt, Alum, Potash, Petroleum, Ether, and Saltpeter.

Fuel and Power

Some weapons are generally available in Ming and Shinobi, but in other areas a special order is needed to get your hands on them. If they’re available at all. These melee weapons are: Dao, Jian, Jo, Katana, Late Katana, Kusari, Kusarigama, Naginata, Nunchaku, Sai, and Tonfa. And the ranged weapons are: Pistol Crossbow, Repeating Crossbow, Spike Shuriken, Star Shuriken.

Mechanical Artillery
Belly Brace, Winch, Belt Hook, Goat’s Foot, Stirrup, Treadmill, and Windlass.
Heavy Weapons: Ballista, Carroballista, Gastraphetes, Petrobolos, Polybolos, Scorpion, Arbalest, Springald. Monankon, Beam Sling, and Trebuchet.

Dragonsteel: Metal weapons weigh the same as steel and have a +1 bonus to skill and +2 bonus to damage. Dragonsteel items are only crafted for members of the Order of the Crown. If the item hasn’t been granted you by the Order, you have a -3 penalty on reactions from members of the Order, their family, and friends. CF +29.
Elven: DF 26 +16 CF.
Fine: DF 26 +2 to +9 CF.
Hardened Silver: Metal weapons can be made of Hardened Silver to exploit monster Vulnerability. These weapons otherwise have the stats of steel weapons. +19 CF
Horn: LT 71. CF -0.8.
Iron: Not affected by Fine and better quality. Always considered cheap.
Lessat Steel: It works as Orichalcum (DF 27). But it never dulls. It has half the weight of steel. And gives a +1 bonus to skill and damage. CF +43.
Meteoric: DF 27 +19 CF.
Ogre: Use Dwarven DF 26 +4 CF
Ornate: DF 27 +1 to +9 CF.
Poorly Balanced: LT 59. CF -0.6.
Very Fine: DF 27 +19 CF.
Wood: LT 71. -0.9 CF.

Dragonsteel: Metal armor with standard DR, 3/4 of the usual weight, and +9 CF; +1 DR, standard weight, and +15 CF; +2 DR, 1.25 times the weight, and +20 CF; +3 DR, 1.5 times the weight, and +25 CF; and +4 DR, 2 times weight, and +30 CF. If the item hasn’t been granted you by the Order of the Crown, you have a -3 penalty on reactions from members of the Order, their family, and friends.
Elven: Any armor can be Elven. If the base armor has divided DR, Elven armor uses the higher DR for all damage. Other armor has +1 DR. All Elven armor has 3/4 normal weight. Split DR armor is CF +12 and other armor is CF +25.
Fine: DF 27. CF +9.
Giant Spider Silk: DF 27 CF +99.
Hardend Silver: Use Thieves’, but ignore its weight for encumbrance for all reasons. CF +9.
Iron: Any metal armor can be made of iron. It has the listed weight, but counts as cheap.
Lessat Steel: Any metal armor can be made out of Lessat Steel. It has +2 DR and 1/2 of the usual weight. +41 CF.
Meteoric: DF 27. CF +19.
Ogre: Use Dwarven, but up to +4 DR that weighs 1.8 times normal. DF 27. +1 to +4 CF.
Ornate: DF 27. +1 to +9 CF.
Spiked: DF 27. CF +2.

Dragonbone, Dragonhide, Dragonscale, Dragonsteel, Giant Spider Silk, Hardened Silver, Iron, Lessat Steel, Meteoric, and Ogre are mutually exclusive.
Hardend Silver and Ornate are mutually exclusive.

Shield SPecific Modifiers
