Glitch 1.31

The tunnel runners find shops and homes and factories and offices and streets and mag-lev trains. Some go off as bats to move quicker, and some even speed up so they can go further faster. Glitch ascends above the ground and the skyscrapers to the level of the space-elevators. The whole planet is one giant city, through and through, surface to core. And nobody's home.

Salazar gets excited to see so much technology and suggests they gather useful things into the infinite storage backpack. ((see Grocery Shopping below))

After shopping around, one of Glitch's tunnel-runners comes across a little boy with a purple, blue and red birthmark over his left eye. He is dirty and emaciated, digging through expired canned goods in one of the convenience stores. Suddenly he panics, turns around and looks directly at the rat, "AAH!" he cries out, then, seeing that it's only a rat, he says, "I've never seen a rat Verser before. You snuck up on me, I didn't notice your Scriff-vector  until just now! Hey little guy, want some cheese?" He digs some slightly dirty cheese out of his pocket and tosses it on the floor closer to the rat. There is no scriff-vector coming from the boy.

Grocery Shopping
Anything Star Wars level technology and earlier that she wants to have, she finds. List anything specific you want, and we'll adjust the backpack to:

Slotter's backpack and contents: if 1d4 >1 it's there, up to 37 magic items, 1d20 if >1 it's there for anything Star Wars tech and below up to 1013 items (a reasonable amount of those items)

Glitch 1.31

(the birthmark seams famillar he from some where else?)

The rat offers the chesee back letting him know it's not hungry and glitch navigates the vehicle to the boy. She has a few questions for him, but first wants to make sure he's doing ok, if he's hungry she uses cook to mix up the expired canned goods into something edible... hopefully she can actualy make it taiste good now that she is growing beyond previous limitations. She asks what happened to this world and where everyone is, why he's alone, ect.

Also is curious why he can tell people have scriff vectors when he don't have one, and if he knows what happened to the scriff vector that was here.....  she wonders if he has one and just is able to hide it though and uses her other senses to try and detect them.... but she don't ask that part just seeing if thats the case he will tell her.

She has the runners gather up mostly tools, stuff like vibro knives and hand held tractor devices, the kinda tools that there technology created.... stuff she can study, take appart, and built herself. And parts.... lots of parts.

The boy is busy paying attention to the rat for awhile, but the moment he notices that the biggest central Scriff-vector is closing in on him, he gasps and disappears. None of the runner's senses can detect him. Not even Chaos Sight is revealing his location. Even Spirit Sight shows nothing.

Very tasty. So tasty, in fact, that the boy appears suddenly to sniff the pot, and asks for some. Now he has a Scriff vector. He pulls a bowl from his jacket and eats a few bowls of the soup.

He begins crying uncontrollably, and disappears again.

It seems to be an intrinsic magic related to Scriff - more meditation will be required.

The subject makes him upset. He seems to think Glitch isn't asking about his Scriff Vector, but about someone else's.

She tries to comunicate with the planets spirit to find out what happened here, if there is anything she can do for it, and offers to contact the Amkelevadam if it is lonely now or needs help healing.

quote:
but we don't think there is anything here that is going to hurt you

Eerily, and with eyes that seem ancient - and upon closer look, with many tiny scars over the oddly colored birthmark and scars in the left eye itself - he whispers, "You never know when they'll show up... you can never know..."

quote:
Have you been stuck here sense what ever happened, happened?

He nods, and stares.

quote:
She sits down and eats with him. "We could help you find some place else to move to."

He's timid about eating with her at first, but warms up to her. "You can run, but you can't hide. They never stop chasing. Even if you escape, they find you." He keeps getting louder and more animated, "No way out! Nowhere to hide! They're coming! Always coming! And when they catch you, they suck you dry! Drain you with pain!" He curls up into a fetal position, but if Glitch tries to comfort him or startles him in any way, he suddenly disappears again for a few minutes before returning as if nothing happened.

quote:
She tries to comunicate with the planets spirit to find out what happened here

The planet's spirit is inhabiting the planetary computational grid. It appears in the form of an older woman dressed all in black leather and cybernetics. Her eyes are red, and her face is tear-stained. With tremendous and overwhelming psychically contagious unbearable grief, she says, "The Boogymen came. They began taking my children and using their pain as fuel. They would have stolen all of my children - the organic, cybernetic and digital. There was nothing I could do to stop them. So I called the Child to come to me, helped him escape, brought him here by the same paths they used to steal my children. When they came for him, the Fates gave my children relief from pain by relieving them from life. I have thanked them for their mercy, and I have called you to do as you will to do. They are coming. They are coming for me next."
quote:
if there is anything she can do for it, and offers to contact the Amkelevadam if it is lonely now or needs help healing.

"NO! It would be evil to draw anyone else into this battle! You were only brought in because of the Chaos Rats and the Infinity Wyrm."

Uses her spirit gifts to calm the child creating an aura of calmness and dose what she can to comfort him.

She asks for more explination from the planet. What the Boogymen are, why it called for the boy, and what the Chaos Rats and the Infinity Wyrm are refured to and have to do with this.

She asks the boy if his scars hurt, and offered to help him heal... trying to sense if he's been tainted any. It seams like he has, and removing what she can might help him recover some so he won't be afraid so much.

((I couldn't quite interpret which of her gifts this would flow from - could you clarify? I went with Rat Mother's Touch))

She asks for more explination from the planet. What the Boogymen are

"They are the group of people who have taken it upon themselves to punish any wrongs they judge in others - in the religious terms of the Earth on which you originated they see themselves as the demons who torment the dead. They take people whom they judge to have transgressed, and use the pain of those they incarcerate to fuel their own power."

quote:
why it called for the boy

"The Fates knew that he would relieve my children from life, and I knew there was no other way for them to escape."

quote:
what the Chaos Rats and the Infinity Wyrm are refured to and have to do with this

"The Chaos Rats are the people-group who were created when the Chaos Phoenix destroyed Ringworld and sent the Scriff-infected race into the realm of death and out through the Scriff into a new universe. The Fates directed their travels, and they have become the destroyers of overpopulated worlds such as my own was. Worlds torn apart by greed and stagnated by crowding are given reprieve as the Chaos Rats eat what they need to survive from the world until its population is appropriate, then disappear from that universe in a flash of the Chaos Phoenix's power. The Boogymen neutralized the Chaos Phoenix, separated and imprisoned and now torture the Chaos Rats.

"The Infinity Wyrm is the Wyrm who incorporates any living entities it eats into its Hive-mind, traveling through the Multiverse having been infected by Scriff when it ate you. It has since that time grown to be about the mass of a few solar-systems, and the total length of a galaxy. It also has been neutralized and imprisoned, and is being tortured by the Boogymen for power."

quote:
She asks the boy if his scars hurt,

He nods, "They don't stop hurting - ever."
quote:
and offered to help him heal...

He hesitates, then he says, "Maybe, but first I want to know your name - and you should know mine. I'm Elliot. What's your name?"
After she answers, he says, "It's okay if you want to try to heal the scar. Others have tried, but it only makes it hurt worse. The B-" he stops himself from saying Boogymen, and finishes with, "bad people made sure of that."

No matter how much energy and power Glitch puts into the effort, the scars don't heal. And the more energy she puts into it, the worse Elliot feels pain from it. At first, the pain is negligible, so he endures it without any outward sign of pain.

After attempting to heal Elliot, Glitch feels like she's being watched - and Elliot gets nervous, "Maybe that was a mistake... I think they're coming..."

-

((So that we can be on the same page regarding Corruption - since there's about to be alot of it.))
On a side note, Glitch has noticed that in most of the places she has seen since then, Corruption doesn't appear like it normally did in the universe she became a Shaman of Rust Spark and Steel. In most places, corruption seems to be less directly affecting the physical plane, and present in some degree in nearly anything that might be considered 'evil' by normal standards. Almost everything connected to life has a bit of taint from corruption, but nothing is completely corrupt. The most Corruption affected things are Corrupted directly by a Corrupt spirit.

This planet itself has almost no Corruption. What Corruption had been here has mostly gone stale, and is returning to neutral.

As a sensitive Shaman, Glitch can surmise that this planet will probably birth new sentient lifeforms by itself sometime in the next 1 million years or less.

Glitch 1.31

Finds all that to be not the best of news.... dose the planet know where they are keep imprisoned?

(yah the corruption she is talking about is spiritual but it can cause physical affects)

She wouldn't try and regenerate the wound if he insisted it would hurt him more, just examine them.... and offer to take him to a place to help him heal. She would she send out all her rats to collect morning dew, a willow branch, and sage.... and to find a sauna that's working or she could fix up quickly.

She would do a combination of a few cleansing and calming rituals to help cleanse him of anything the boogymen may have done to him and help him relax aswell.

Using the suana for a sweat lodge ritual... using the dew in place of water for exstra bits

burning sage in the room and around him, before closing it up for the sweat lodge

and dipping the willow branch in the dew and using a normal cleansing ritual on him with it.

Then if she fills like they are being watched after this she grabs the kid and uses an ugraded version of bolt using both a bolthole and choas teleport along with shadow magic to hide her making it seam like she bolted in several diffrent derections at once.  Normal bolt makes it hard to follow or find them after some one runs from the magics that hide them ...  doing this should make it much much much harder.

Also quick question could ordered choas craft something up that could survive being thrown into a sun >.> or a black hole maybe? (can scriff survive a black hole or would she have a way of knowing that?) XD

No further information, but if she really pressed and dug, she'd eventually figure out that it's somewhere in a different universe.

((In that case, every sentient being and object touched by sentient beings has a bit of corruption, and seeing anything without corruption will be very rare. So far, the Amkelevadam are the least corrupt creatures she's ever seen. They had less corruption than even Sender, and he had less than humans have.))

*Rolls & advances*
Even though it is a most impressive healing ceremony, and even though his mind, spirit and soul were refreshed and healed from the experience, the scars remain. However, they are less painful than they were.

((I'll need you to add the Shadow magic to your CS if she already had it, and if it's new to Glitch, it'll be a new skill))
Glitch is able to open 15 boltholes at once, and appear to teleport into each of them.

((Where is she going, though? With that kind of combo-spell, just about anywhere in the galaxy would be reasonable, and it's a fairly active galaxy - about on par with Star Wars, so feel free to use your imagination on the destination.))

quote:

Glitch's main crafting skill is Engineering, so if she combined Engineering with Jury Rig and Chaos, it would be a pretty powerful combination.

Scriff can survive anything, but it's very hard to work with. Slotter would've told her that.

she will make them all go to dead worlds as not to have them follow to any world where they could take anything.... if she can get the kid to crawl into her back pack she will go to a dead they shouldn't be able to surivie on and make her way underground where she will cave in creating a pocket she can fill with air and let the kid out.... if he won't crawl inside she will just go to a dead world that still has air, or has like a base on it that still has air on it and she can repair the air filters before it runs out.

Yup. They'd verse-out and then verse-in to some other universe. Slotter would've explained that there'd be no guarantee that they'd verse-in to the same universe as one another, but if they really wanted to, they might have better chances of it.

She sees images of blood and flayed but living flesh of Rat, keening so loud it is painfully heard by all, bones crushing, teeth being beaten out of mouths, hair being torn out in chunks, tails being shredded, minds being broken. Gobs of energetic pain and fright ooze from the images and are lapped up by an inversion - a creature of nothingness impressed into reality, not consisting of matter or energy, but of absence. The pain and fear pour into the abyss of the thing and are transmuted into prana which is taken by a group of people and causes them to grow in power.

(well they where tied to earths moon because the moon created spiritual pathways and had spirits protect them. If she made one she would be doing it with her own spiritual power, which shouldn't be a problem. The stones act as anchor points linking each other spiritually, when activated the space between them collapses into what is basically a spiritual wormhole...  a moon bridge, a pathway between realities that connects the two spaces to each other. She plans to reinforce one with order magics and ether toss it into a sun or into orbit of a black hole, and keep the other as a back up plan.  So if they are capatured and taken to the others she can open the bridge and ether flood the area with plasma from the sun, or suck everything into the black hole.

With her spiritual sensitivity, Glitch is able to find a moon similar to Earth's moon which will help with her create the Moonbridge Stones. She finds a black hole with a super-heated jet stream, and positions the stone so that it will send anything that comes through into the black hole, and will send a superheated, super-fast stream of highly charged particles through in the other direction. Or any variation of that desired.

No can do - Glitch has no access to Order magics because she has no Order items. But also it isn't necessary.

To be fair, it's not all of Rat being flayed, just a representative of a small portion of Ratkind. But Glitch does feel a bit of Paranoia.

(sorry ordered chaos where the flow of choas feeds back on itself into ordering paterns to reinforce the paterns of the stone making it more durable >.>)

Uses another gift called prison pocket (i think) that calls chaos spirits (can't remember what kind but I think of trickery or shadows/mischtif... something along those lines) to open another orifice into her body. This is a Som&Spi affect that creates a small mini realm out of her own flesh kinda like if some one poked you and used the bigger on the inside than the outside of the rite of the shopping cart to burrow the poke into a small cavity in your body.... then folded and knitted your skin back together so like it was never there.

There is no outward sign that the pocket space is there unless some with with delicate spiritual senses carefully searches the area.

It takes up an exspendature of spiritual power given to the spirits which they use most of in creating the pocket and keep the rest for themselves.

It don't take any spirtual energy to release the item from the pocket but when it dose the pocket no more... it's single use per use. And if the spot is cut through it will release destroy the pocket releasing the item.

There is a general size limit to it has to fit through the spot on the body it's placed.... so if it's on the belly you can't fit anything wider than your belly is into it.... and if it is too big or heavy it will cost more energy. Generaly if it's larger than a microwave/bread box or so ... you will have to pay more as it's going to be harder to make that hole. Items smaller than a breadbox can be stored indeffently, bigger stuff i think needs to be maintained every now and again.

And only one item per pocket (though that item can be made up of more than one item... so like a case with stuff in it)

There is a similar power called stash that lets you created such things on your own into spirit realms anywhere, but they can store a LOT more, but if you leave them more than a few months they tend to get raided by the spirits that do this power and you might find items missing.

She simply asks they place the stone some where she will be able to touch it when it comes out, and they won't look for it, or it won't be damaged if they attack her. >.>

She panics when she sees rat and grabs the kid teleporting back to the ruined world splitting off into several of her who start using rat trap to set up a wide digree of traps using the tech on the planet while she starts making an attack robot using jery rig... arming it with a weapon desined to harness chaos energy into ordered chaos desined to use Appy for a power sorce and pilot.

She also crafts 30 of the chaos seeds into chaos knives desined to suck the chaos out of anything they are throw/stabbed into and feed it into the seed to grow onto/into that thing.

Basicaly going full paranoid prepper mode.

The robot is created, and piloted by Appy

She also crafts 30 of the chaos seeds into chaos knives desined to suck the chaos out of anything they are throw/stabbed into and feed it into the seed to grow onto/into that thing.

She rearranges the Chaos in the seed to make it very hungry, and very sharp. She does this by removing the Chaos from it's energy storage, and moving it to the outer casing which causes the casing to become a scalpel-sharp knife-shape. Once stabbed by the Chaos Seed Knife, a creature will find their internal Chaos drained away into the seed, and find the seed growing roots into and around them, squeezing and stabbing them with the roots & shoots.

Then she goes into her bunker with Elliot.

Time passes, and even one such as Glitch who can survive on the prana of the universe occasionally needs to sleep. Even one who has become as Paranoid as a flat-Earther, still sleeps.

Sleep sneaks up on Glitch when she isn't watching, and when Hypnos ((the Greek god of sleep)) overtakes her psyche, Morpheus ((Greek god of dreams)) warns her.

She dreams of a vast forest filled with creatures of tooth and claw and bloodlust. The forest is fire, but it is a fire of shadow and corruption. On the other side of the woods, there is a shining light, but there is no way around the woods of torment, and no possibility of remaining still. She feels chased.

As she enters into the woods, she is in a desert. The sand of the desert is sharp and cutting, her inner Chaos Mage feels an over-abundance of Chaos everywhere. The desert is filled with giant dragons and lions, shredding goats and lizards into tiny pieces. Each of the pieces that falls from the blood-dripping mouths of beasts blooms into new creatures which are then taken and killed as well. In this desert, there is a cube, and the cube is chained and bleeding, keening loudly with nothing coming to its aid. A ladder with a single rung is standing next to the cube. The rung is also being assaulted, but it remains solid and unmoved.

The rung expands to fill Glitch's vision and it is an old woman in a cave. She is knitting a blanket and humming to herself. She looks up at the dreamer and says, "Oh, it's you! I'll be seeing you, friend. Take courage."

Abruptly the dream ends as a tiny hole rips open in space-time, rimmed by an azure electrical pattern. The vertical hole appears like rippling water, and is only large enough for an ant to get through. The hole disappears as fast as it appeared, and immediately another hole opens right in front of Glitch's neck. Before she even sees the hole opening, she feels an iron collar appearing around her neck.

Elliot screams as he sees what's happening. He tries to hide himself as he had earlier, but as he begins to fade, a similar hole opens in front of him and a similar collar wraps around his neck. As soon as the collar is in place, he returns to solidity and full visibility.

First a man Glitch recognizes from her dream appears - Jack. But he's somehow very different, very evil, and clearly older. Evil Jack floats through the portal, followed by a man in a lab-coat, a young child who looks just like Elliot, but with an unscarred birthmark over his right eye, a 6' tall spider, and an 8' tall featureless man in a business suit with razor-sharp tentacles.

She instinctively shrinks to rat size when she see's the collar forming, trying to fall out of it before it can close and knock it away. She recognizes the dementional rifts and tries to use spirit magic pumping spirital energy into the space between realities and sucking the chaos out of it to make dementional/spritual travel as hard as possable. (if able to avoid the collar)

Curssing at her self for being so focused on means to protect them she whent all offence in her paranoia and forgot deffense.

"Your the one from my dreams but not.... and this is Elliot but not Elliot ether... what do you want?"

((First mention of Ordered Chaos was link to a message in this game and was the un-technological crow's interpretation of electricity running through wires. Electricity was the chaos, it was ordered along wires. Then in message 33 link to a message in this game the skeletal celestial called Glitch a being of Ordered Chaos - this is a reference to the fact that the dominant magic of the planet has lately been the duality of Chaos and Order, and from that magical perspective, all things are Ordered Chaos and Chaotic Order. Then in msg 34, you wrote, "weaving in a way of ordered chaos into a braided bracelet of feather fibers" Which told me that I hadn't clearly shown how Chaos and Order magic work. Chaos mages cannot work with Order magically, and placing Chaos in orderly patterns only weakens the Chaos magic of the item. This is why ultimately when the bracelet was made, I wrote: "While she wasn't paying attention, her colony-mind took over her fingers and completed the task she set for herself to do, creating a masterfully perfectly imperfect Chaos Feather Bracelet which they have taken the liberty of weaving into her wrist implant." Think of it more like a Jackson Pollock weave or a bird's nest weave than a normal orderly weave or braid. The Phoenix is Chaotic Chaos Chaotically Chaosified with extra Chaos.

All that said, essentially Glitch can Chaos the order, but not order the Chaos. Chaos is the verb, and order/Order can be the preposition or object, but not the subject.
Glitch can chaos the order of an object, and can withdraw the chaos from around the order of an object, but she can't manipulate order. Unless she uses an Order magic item to channel Order spells through.))

quote:
She recognizes the dementional rifts and tries to use spirit magic pumping spirital energy into the space between realities and sucking the chaos out of it to make dementional/spritual travel as hard as possable. (if able to avoid the collar)

*rolls & advances*
Although she won't be able to avoid the collar, she is able to weave this spell before the collar takes effect. It is the hardest thing she has ever done. She finds it exponentially harder to do the simplest of things than an extremely complex spell would ordinarily be. Yet it is a fruitful learning experience. As she uses all of her spiritual reserves and electrical reserves, she finds her electrical reserves extra powerful from exposure to so much Chaos energy. As she pulls the Chaos out of the portals, they loose power rapidly and destabilize - ordinarily they would've exploded at this point, but Glitch was still withdrawing the Chaos, so they just poofed. However, some of that Chaos jumped out to anything nearby. Some of it overloaded the Portal Gun that the old man in the white coat was holding, causing it to fall from his hands and smash open on the ground.
"Ƒ-®-@-₵-|< !!" he yells.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of the Chaos energy. Some of it smacked into the collars, and began shocking Glitch and Elliot. The charge of Chaos electricity zapped them at random intervals. But Glitch's natural ability to absorb electricity, and her status as a Chaos mage which gave her the ability to absorb Chaos, caused the shocks to lose power and be more bearable over time.

quote:
She instinctively shrinks to rat size when she see's the collar forming,

Just before the collar closes, she manages to shrink and the Chaos causes her to split off into 37 rats in total. The collar split into multiples, and stayed with each of the 37 rats including Glitch.

quote:
"Your the one from my dreams but not.... and this is Elliot but not Elliot ether... what do you want?"

The spider cocks its humanoid head to the side, blinking 4 of his eyes, and rasps "Your pain."

Evil Jack says, "Drop the disguise, everyone."

Suddenly Jack appears less kind. Mainly because of the assorted blades piercing his skin at the shoulders, thighs, back and ankles, the exposed bloody bone spikes extending through each natural joint, and the absurd red-leather woven body-suit.

The man in a lab-coat looks younger, but with excessive exposed oozing cybernetic implants. The evil Elliot becomes a girl in a red dress with a too-happy schmile. The 6' tall spider looks like a cross between Pinhead, a xenomorph and a were-spider. The 8' tall featureless man in a business suit with razor-sharp tentacles has one tentacle in each of the Boogeymen, and a long thin tentacle extends to stab everyone with a collar on as well. The tentacle remains embedded in everyone's flesh.

quote:
She prepares to throw the seed knives at them if they try and hurt her or Elliot.

*roll & advance*
The knife lands in Jack's chest, but he leaves it there. It grows into him, spreading roots and shoots beneath his skin, until 30% of his skin has roots beneath the surface. The Chaos drains from him into the roots, but then the tentacle man stabs the tree with a tentacle, and there seems to be a steady circular flow of Chaos which slowly increases in power between the three of them. The pain on Jack's face is visible, but it is coupled with masochistic pleasure.

The same process occurs with Elliot, but the roots fall away drained by her after a few moments.

A mechanical robot-arm whips out of the scientist's back and captures the seed-knife in a glass tube. He starts picking up the pieces of his portal-gun with other arms, and his arms immediately start repairing it with his direction.

The spider blinks at the seed and it falls to the ground harmlessly.

The knife flies right through the tentacle man, slowing like it was thrown through a wispy drape. One of his tentacles snatches it out of the air, and stabs Glitch with it in her neck. Although a Chaos-circuit is made between Glitch, the roots, the tentacle on the root, the tentacle to Glitch's collar, the collar and back to Glitch, the energy seems to be sapping Glitch's strength and Chaos, and absorbing power from her pain, but not giving her any power or benefit.

quote:
guess traps don't matter but she would weaponize anything she could... even if it meant calpasing buildings)

((Now's your chance - tell me when they trigger one of Glitch's traps, and what is supposed to happen.))

The Scientist says, "I'll need some supplies. There's a shop I know of that has what I need to fix this. Follow me."

Jack splits off into 111 Jacks, and 110 of them go off after the 36 other rats who are trying to escape. The last Jack walks behind Glitch.

The Scientist leads, followed by Evil Elliot girl, then Glitch, then Jack, then good Elliot boy, and finally Spider picks up the rear of the group with tentacle-man. In single file, they all follow the Scientist - whether they want to or not - the collars are painfully forcing their bodies to move along.

Glitch 1.31

Well I would say automated turrents in the hallway leading up and out. Outside the chaos/appy powered mech... and in the area several bobby traps involving stuff like droping large structures on people, sending choas overloaded primed to exploed vehichals driving into people, and at times supressing fire as distractions from the actual trap.... or one trap forcing people into other traps.

And the fleeing rats would likely try and lure people chasing into them.

Glitch 1.31

More detail, please
The more detail I get, the more likely they will be to do something useful. Glitch had access to near limitless tech and mechanical supplies, as well as Chaos magic which could've been used to repair anything and charge anything up. Feel free to have the traps target specific enemies. Tell me about what traps the rats (or some of them, anyway) lure the Jacks into.

Glitch 1.31

Trying to think up a buch of diffrent traps for 110 jacks is kinda hard. x.x

IEDs, things being shot at them, things coliding into him, electricution traps, tella fraging, dropping things on them, summoning circles or pre-summoned spirits being released from there holdings VERY pissed off  ...  I don't know how long they had to make traps but there is a lot they could do to make some rather unpradictable traps.

I know mousetrap is supose to get better with more details but it's kinda hard to put details to this level of exsesitvity with out writing a novel.

Some exsamples could be:

Rigging an street with explosive IEDs, turents, and stuff like flying motercycles that fly at you primed to explode with chaos overcharged fuel cells......  all a distraction for a group of jacks that while they are dealing with those traps they don't notice the sky scrapers around them have already had there suports taken out to the point they are ready to crumble into rubble and explosives take them out in such a way they fall inward from both sides to collapse down onto the street barrying it in hundreds of thousands of pounds of iron and glass.  While the rat escapes underground through passages to small for the distracted jacks sealing it behind them........

Exsploding water vanes around electric power supplies, lose wires, and a bound (then released) greater elctrical spirit.... >.>

Stashes of the seed knives.

Weapons and traps desined to pump MASIVE amounts of chaos into some one.... or drain every drop of chaos out of them.

And hell if possable she might have even tired creating a charge of order buy getting an energy source and separating the chaos out of it and see if the leaves just order energy behind....  if done right she might leave it as a trap to fire order energy into chaos energy with a jack in the middle....  as an experiment/trap  lol

If the rats have access to her wrist device, or her knowledge to build a device to access them.... she would have left some vehicles in high altitude to bring them crashing down at high velocity on command..... though they really couldn't be over charged or they would just explode in the air.

If she was paranoid enough..... and went full on rapture and didn't know what she was doing.... she might have even made z0mb13s to convert any bodies left behind (if there was any) to convert corpses into more of there kind and that attack anything they sense over a set threashold (set somewhat high) of corruption.

Glitch 1.31

quote:
tella fraging

((I'm not sure what this would be.))

Two of the rats lead about 5 of the Jacks into a heavily trapped corridor. The first IED that the lead Jack triggers sends his limbs and head splattering against the walls - but the remains disappear in less than a second. The other 4 are more careful, but the middle Jack is shot in the middle of his chest when the leading Jack triggers a dragon-breath shotgun turret and ducks out of the way. Something shifts and the remaining 3 Jacks seem to become more powerful with the death and disappearance of their other 2 compatriots.  They cross a set of tracks just in time for a hyper-speed train to collide with one of the remaining 3, causing him to become a new train-grill decoration for the few moments before his remains also disappear. When the ground they are walking on begins to electrocute them, the final 2 channel the electrical energy and use it to power themselves up. The two Jacks manage to corner the rats and just as one throws a net, trapping the rats, his midsection is teleported 1 foot to the side, and he falls to his knees at the sudden loss of blood pressure to his brain, disappearing like the 2 before him before he hits the ground. The last of the 4 Jacks picks up the helpless rat, and returns to the core group.

Another of the rats leads his 3 Jacks down a different trapped path. A heavily weighted ceiling falls, and though 2 Jacks escape, the third is squished.

The other two step on the Dias that squashed their compatriot and release a monstrously ravenous succubus. Together they overpower her temptations by their own offers of temptation and having weakened the succubus, they consume her. The buildup of ambient evil spiritual energy breaks the chains of a greater demon who had been bound within a circle. The creature was from a physical hellscape, and its inner drive was to inflict pain and kill the living. When it saw a Jack, it bowed its head and said, "Apologies, friend. I have been summoned to kill you, so I will try." In hangry appetite, it chomped at him and tried to kill and eat the Jack, but Jack held out a new silver coin on a leather cord and the demon disappeared in a burst of black flames. The coin was nowhere to be seen - it had vanished as quickly as it had appeared. With her improved eye-sight she could make out the phrase "A Kingdom United shall not Fall" and the image of a Ceasar with horns on his forehead. The Conn is marked with "XX pieces of silver" all the words are in Latin, but Chaos translated by Glitch's Chaos mage power.

A large group of Jacks follow a large group of rats down a street as two Jacks are blown up by tripped IEDs, three are surprised by machine-gun turrets, and another two are taken out by a flying motorcycle which slams into them and explodes.

At about this point, all of the remaining multiplied Jacks experience a shift in power. Enough of them have been thinned out that Jack's remaining power is less distributed and more concentrated. Even though there are more IEDs, the Jacks absorb the energy of the explosions and are unharmed by any further IEDs. Even though there are more guns and lasers, the Jacks are able to fend off any damage from them, or heal themselves quick enough to be relatively unbothered by them. But at about that moment, as the large group of Jacks are distracted by the guns, explosions and flying exploding vehicles, the real trap falls on their heads from above as the buildings surrounding the street all collapse in on them.

One uses telekinetic pulses to keep the falling debris away from him. One uses magnetic manipulation to Shield himself with large pieces of iron debris. One phases himself out of physical existence to pass through the stone and debris without coming to harm. One activates a force field device on his belt, and is completely shielded from everything that falls on him. To advance after the rats, one of them begins to phase in and out of relatively close multiverses to chase the rats down tunnels that don't exist in the world that the rats flee from within. Another shrinks to the size of an atom and flies at near the speed of light to capture his prize.

These advanced Jacks make quick work of electrical issues.

The seed knives don't bother the Jacks any longer.

One Jack was overloaded on Chaos energy and nuclear exploded, destroying everything within a mile of his underground location, including some of Glitch's rats. This hurt. It felt like party of her was phased out of existence, though not really gone.

As one Jack is drained of all chaos by the combined efforts of thirteen rats, he slows down. At first, he is fully healed, and everything is good in his body. But then he begins to grow cold and slows further. He even begins to fade to grey as every drop of life is drained from him.

Glitch's trick with creating order energy works. When the Order energy is released with the chaos energy, and collides on the singular Jack, Jack pulls in both the order and the chaos into himself, causing him to become healthier stronger faster and smarter.

(( I don't know anything about z0mb13s, so I won't go there until I do.))

Ultimately the Jacks capture all of the loose rats. They all return to the central group, however they do not return the rats to Glitch's body. Instead the rats are all immobilized, and put into a coma. They are then tossed inside of a small interdimensional box for storage. Ultimately the old scientist finds his store that he was looking for, obtains the materials that he needed, and fixes his portal gun. He then opens a portal to the Hell-realm from which they came.

The tall tentacle thing merges with the portal to in some way become the universe into which they are entering. Jack, the scientist, the spider and Elliot. Evil Elliot immediately began using a specialized pointed tool on the other Elliott's eye with scars. He painfully drew out some form of energy from the birthmark and swallowed it, guiding it even into his own eye. As Glitch looked around she saw bodies in every state of decay, dismemberment and other forms of torment - all living and aware. There was practically no background that was not in some form or another a living body belonging to an empained person. In fact even the tormentors: Jack and the others, were clearly in pain. However in some way the pain that they experienced was being filtered and transmorphed into a twisted form of pleasure and power. Indeed the power from the pain of all of those bodies around was funneling itself into the group, the bogeyman.

Glitch was given power over her own mobility again.

Glitch 1.31

(tella fraging is from the table once whole now broken....  it's a vedio game term for teleporting into some one else and killing them.... your fine but they explode because you teleported into the same spot they are in.... basicaly the teleporter technology used in the table creates a bubble to make room for the teleporting matter on the other end so you can't teleport into solid objects, so if you teleport into some one you kill them and you get a tella-frag)

(The z0mb13s where basicaly the borg but slaved to a program and using dead bodies... no hive mind or anything they are just zombies running on a program....  so zombies that spread instead of by curse or magic by tenchology that is intergrated into them by other z0mb13s.... the higher tech the faster they spread and ofcrose if they are alowed to kill living people to get 'parts'... generaly though they don't have nanites or the like so they just grab bodies and drag them to where ever there are the parts they need to build a new z0mb13 from the corpse.  Though glitch could give them nanites so they could work literaly like the borg just injecting a dead body with nanites that cyberdize it and reanimate it as a z0mb13 that goes looking for another corpse, quickly building a deffense force agnest corruption if there are corpses around.)

If she sees/senses the others she was told where captured by the boogymen... the crows, the wyrm, other survents of rat, the people of the planet, ect ect ect.....

IF that is the case...

She will tell Elliott "Sorry we could not protect you... but we can save you." Then she will release pocket space letting the moonstone fall out and self-activate oppening the bridge to the black hole.

Glitch 1.31

RETCON:
When one of the rats teleported into a Jack, the Jack was telefragged. This assault worked two more times, then one of the other Jacks who saw it happening activated a device which caused all telefraggable teleportations within a Jack's vicinity to bring the teleported item or person to a safe distance, from which the Jack either trapped the teleporting rat, or ignored anything they weren't after.

There were a few bodies left behind. But even a small percentage of such a large population is still a large total number. Between the nanite assistance and the teleportation advantage, there were about 5000 z0mb13s created by the time the Bogeymen showed up. However, once the Bogeymen realized that they weren't sentient, they were practically ignored, and once they were "dealt with" by the spider, they were no longer a problem. After doing some mysterious thing with some unknown magic, the z0mb13s ignored the Bogeymen.

But Glitch had the feeling that this wouldn't be the last she'd ever hear of these z0mb13s. Behind the scene, there were natural AI hiding in the mainframes and onboard computers of various devices in the world - AI which would discover and alter the code of the z0mb13s in time. But Glitch had no way of knowing this, and couldn't weaponize it even if she had known.

quote:
If she sees/senses the others she was told where captured by the boogymen... the crows, the wyrm, other survents of rat, the people of the planet, ect ect ect...

As her mind went through its checklist, each thought of someone who evoked a feeling of concern or care in any way, moved her awareness to view that person in whatever state they were in. She would later learn that one torture aspect of this hell-realm was that if you thought about someone you cared about, you'd see the pain they were in.

One of the crows was pinned to a bed of Order nails. The pain this abominable device caused amplified Chaos energy which was siphoned out of it. Most of the feathers of this crow had been plucked out, and a smaller version of the Spider was slowly flailing the skin from the Crow, and removing its organs to force-feed its mate. Its mate was next to it, with its opaque eye-lids cut off and the diluted blood of the other dripping into its eyes, forcing it to stare at the torture of its mate. It seemed this skinning and dissecting process had been completed for this crow, but already, the skinned and dissected crow was being forced to painfully heal new organs, skin and plumage.

The Infinity Wyrm was torn into individual room-sized segments. Each segment had it's healing-strands desperately reaching out toward the nearest others to try to reconnect them. Most of the segments had been hollowed out and were being used as torture chambers for various other beings. The pain of the Wyrm was flooding the psychic background around it.

The 1.3 Quadrillion Chaos Rats are being tortured in a vast variety of methods. So, also, are the people of the planet she was just taken from.

There are also countless other people and creatures around. Many Versers, many non-Versers.

As Glitch's awareness passes from person to person, she notices the old woman from her dream who was knitting a blanket. The old woman looks directly at Glitch's bodiless awareness and mouths, "soon".

The entire scene is what one would expect of Dante's Inferno - it is a hell-realm. There is pain, dismemberment and disease, but there is no death.

Thinking of Scriff vectors, Glitch notices that Evil Jack, Evil Elliot, and the scientist have Scriff vectors, but the spider and tentacle man don't.

quote:
Then she will release pocket space letting the moonstone fall out and self-activate oppening the bridge to the black hole.

The scientist notices the moonstone, but doesn't recognize it, so does nothing until it's too late. The bridge to the black-hole opens, and everything within the event horizon is immediately crushed and sucked into the black hole in the other universe. Everything else nearby soon follows.

Along with nearly everyone else, Glitch is dead.
