Marcellus Vettori

His Grace Alder Marcellus Vettori, Duke of the District of Columbia and current Praxis-holder of the Domain. He is a rather large Ventrue, standing well over 6 feet tall, who possesses an imposing presence. A luminary amongst the Invictus and infamous for his appetite, he has been Prince since the 1970s. Originally from Italian descent, some claim that he traces his roots back to Ancient Rome. Whether that is true or not, this elder Kindred has adapted well to these modern nights and is well connected amongst the high society and criminal underworld of Washington, D.C.

Rumor has is that if you have the Prince's favor, you will receive an invite to one of his infamous banquets, and you better not turn down the chance to dine with him.

Adele Desjardins

Seneschal in service to the Prince, the stunning Adele Desjardins is a Deacon of the Lancea Sanctum and a keen socialite. She's one of the very few Kindred that has the Prince's ear while not belonging to his Inner Circle, something she uses to her advantage and that of her Covenant, which continues to be favored by the Invictus Praxis. Hailing from France, Adele seems to always be looking for new ways of entertaining herself, in and out of Court.

Anatolie Istrati

Domain Status: 4

Originally hailing from the nation of Romania, this Mekhet belongs to an old order of monks that calls a monastery near Bucharest home. A respected member of the Ordro Dracul, Anatolie serves as the Sheriff of the District of Columbia. He enjoys a friendly relationship with many members of the Lancea Sanctum, due in part to his origins as an Eastern Orthodox monk. After leaving the region of Wallachia, he spent many years in Philadelphia before relocating to Washington, D.C. He carries himself with a calm demeanor and is found to be one of the most approachable Kindred in the Court by newcomers and old-timers alike.

Geraldine Carroll

The Right Honorable Alder Geraldine Carroll, Marquise of the District of Columbia and Harpy of the District of Columbia. She is a member of the Prince's Inner Circle, a dazzling beauty of the Daeva Clan, who knows how to navigate the local social circles better than most Kindred. A silver tongue and a striking appearance are her weapons of choice, and she wields them without mercy against those who trespass against her. Many envy her position in the Court, and she's rumored to be the Prince's favorite vassal. She also happens to be the Regent of the Palisades.

Phillip Mcgee

Domain Status: 4

The Honorable Alder Phillip Mcgee, Earl of Georgetown and Keeper of Elysium within the Praxis of the District of Columbia. An elder Ventrue, he is usually a bit of a recluse, typically only seen during nights in which the Prince holds court in the historic estate of Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown, which served as one of the original gathering places for the Invictus before the Domains of Georgetown and Washington, D.C. became one and the same. A member of the Prince's Inner Circle, he has been a longtime resident of the Georgetown area and a respected member of the Domain. When business requires his presence outside the bounds of the Elysium, he tends to employ the use of Ghouls, who he will send in his stead or possess them when the need arises. He also happens to be the Regent of Georgetown.

Sienna Callaghan

Hailing from Ireland, this Gangrel Acolyte serves as the Prince's Hound within the Domain of the District of Columbia. An elder amongst her Clan and Covenant, she is known to be a fierce and loyal warrior. Some are fooled by her appearance, which is typically the last mistake the ever make. She carries out the Prince's judgment and punishment without mercy. There have been many Kindred that have met their final death at her hands, or claws rather.

Uma Shrivastava

Priscus to the Daeva Clan, this exotic beauty claims to be a member of an ancient Indian lineage descended from gods and demons alike. Uma Shrivastava relocated from her ancestral home to Washington, D.C. in the 60s. An accomplished Acolyte and self-proclaimed priestess to the goddess Kali, she is also a formidable warrior in her own right and an accomplished dancer as well.

Laurent Carpentier

A self-proclaimed freedom fighter, Laurent Carpentier arrived in Washington, D.C. from Haiti sometime in the 50s. He's had a prickly relationship with the Invictus since his arrival, but he was able to rally the support of his Clan in order to become their Priscus. This Gangrel Carthian is a fearsome foe, yet fiercely intellectual and a politically-savvy Kindred. He does not hide his dislike of the practice of employing and keeping ghouls, advocating the stance that one can be an apex predator without the need to enslave others.

Quinn Clements

The Honorable Alder Quinn Clements, Viscount of West End and Priscus of the Mekhet Clan. He is a member of the Prince's Inner Circle, who is responsible for much of the Invictus' wealth and resources. He's well-connected in the financial sector and has many bankers and stock-brokers in his pocket. A keen trader, he does not only trade in stocks, but also in favors and secrets. Something about him makes him easy to forget when you are not in his presence. He also happens to be the Regent of West End.

Kayin Sunay

Domain Status: 3

Hailing from Turkey, Kayin Sunay is a Nosferatu warrior of the Ordo Dracul. This fearsome Kindred is held in high esteem by those of his Clan, which is why he carries the mantle of Priscus. Rumor has it that he was once an accomplished general in the armies of the Ottoman Empire. He now calls the massive necropolis found deep beneath Washington, D.C. his home, where all Nosferatu are welcome regardless of Covenant affiliation. He carries himself with a rather calm demeanor, even though those that have experienced his wrath have rarely survived to tell the tale. He has unnaturally green eyes, which seem to stare at Kindred and Kine alike as if they were prey.

Cordelia Weatherly

Originally a minor member of British nobility, Cordelia Weatherly left that life and England behind after the Embrace. An ardent believer in the Testament of Longinus, this Ventrue has served as an inquisitor of the Lancea Sanctum for many nights. She also happens to be the local Priscus of the Ventrue Clan, being held in high esteem for her noble upbringing, regal countenance and possessing an impenetrable mind. She has close ties to the First Estate, with many members of her Kindred lineage counting themselves amongst the ranks of the Unconquered.

Lucien Perreault

The Nosferatu known as Lucien Perreault serves as the local Bishop to the Diocese in Washington, D.C. A zealous leader of the Second Estate, he inspires unsettling feelings in many Kindred and Kine alike. He is rumored to be a master of the mystical arts of the Lancea Sanctum, who is not afraid to use them to ensure that the Sanctified's influence in the Praxis of the District of Columbia does not falter. He is not fond of the Acolytes, but tolerates them for the sake of upholding the truce between both Covenants, which remains in place but has been shaky as of late. Upon closer inspection, his skin seems to have a somewhat fish-like appearance, covered in tiny scales. He also happens to be the Regent of Cathedral Heights.

Christof Kielholz

A descendant of German nobility, Christof Kielholz is a Ventrue that carries the mantle of Grand Wyrm at the local Academy of the Ordo Dracul in Washington, D.C. He is an accomplished scientist, researcher and occultist, who dabbles in the arts of alchemy and is considered by many to be one of the smartest and most knowledgeable Kindred within the District of Columbia. Many come to him when seeking answers to some of the more esoteric questions. He also happens to be the Regent of Takoma.

Kimani

The Gangrel known simply as Kimani leads the Acolytes of the District of Columbia. She claimed the title of Hierophant somewhat recently, after the untimely disappearance of her predecessor. She is a highly spiritual Kindred, who has vast knowledge of the esoteric blood rituals of the Circle of the Crone. Rumor has it she was some sort of witch before she was embraced, and some claim that she has rather unusual powers that are not common amongst Kindred. Feared by her enemies, yet loved by her Acolytes, she continues to grow the ranks of the local Circle.

Valentina Taravella

Domain Status: 3

Hailing from somewhere in Italy, the Daeva known as Valentina Taravella serves as the currently elected Prefect of the Carthian Movement in the District of Columbia. Due to her position within the Movement, she is also the de-facto Regent of Anacostia. A flighty Kindred that always seems to have luck on her side, she has managed to keep the peace with the Invictus for several decades now. She is well-connected and has many friends among the local gangs, which she uses both for information and muscle as necessary. She has a tendency for getting herself into trouble, but somehow she always manages to come out of it mostly unscathed.
