The rolling foothills are your home; their open pastures, fodder for your herd. You've devoted your life to feeding and protecting the animals whose meat, fur or unique abilities you would surely die without.

ABILITY:
--You get +1 to predicting what an animal might do next.

EQUIPMENT
 A staff (medium), a cloak, a set of hide clothes, a stone scraper (small), 3 paces of rope, a full dewskin of water, and a purse of meat cuts.

HERD
The world is home to an unimaginable breadth of strange creatures that could be bartered or tricked into something resembling servitude. Choose the creature your character has spent their life with, or leave it to the casting of a bone. Each option provides a unique bonus as well as one additional provision. Bonuses do not take up equipment slots.

Animals Table (d6)

1. Mouflon. These horned beasts have piercing eyes. The pack runt loyal to you is too small for any but a child to mount, but has 20 equipment slots. Provision: A dewskin of milk.

2. Stone Spirit. You carry a small piece of one of these departed spirits, carved into its likeness. It may whisper to you when it believes you are about to join the next life. Provision: A purse of honeycomb.

3. Wolf. You reared a young wolf as your own. It is an expert at tracking and searching for otherworldly things. Provision. A purse of marrowbone.

4. Behemoth (whale). Those vast, distant, powerful creatures have come to trust you. Your ivory horn emulates their eerie call. Provision. A purse of curds.

5. Skybe. You sing for the birds and they reward you. Each day, your colorful companion may convince its wild kin to let you forage a single dose of their wax or venom. Provision. A dewskin of honeywine.

6. Blood Elk. You adorn yourself with pieces of that tangled mass of horns that carries an elk's scent. They entice all manner of creature- but never a predator too meek to face the mighty elk. Provision. A dewskin of sourmilk.
