Sounds good, I'll give Uagu some light armor then.

XP POINTS:
You get 1 xp point each time your highest result is a 1. You will also get extra xp when you achieve a goal you've been working toward.
LEVEL UP: When you "cash in" a number of xp points equal to 7+your level (so 8, for starting players), you level up. Increase a Stat by 1 (maximum 3), get 1 extra maximum HP, and you will add a new ability to your character sheet (see GM).
This brings up some concerns for me. It seems to open up a lot of metagaming, where the player is incentived to miss on purpose, or use skills which are likely to miss, as often as possible.
That will break immersion for me at least a bit, also it could lead to some players outleveling others depending on dice rolls and class mechanics which doesn't seem ideal.
Finally I'd prefer not to have to worry about optimizing my experience points in combat, I'd prefer if the experience just naturally followed progression without having to think about it.
I'm still down to try it out.
