RTJ/Character creation

First the RTJ:

Send me your character concept. Race/Class/Background and Area of Origin at the least. Geography limits options. We will be using my Fantasy Earth setting, cobbled together by my take on real world myth and legend and frankensteined into one (hopefully) cohesive setting.

Please don't send a full character, as what you send may need to be tweaked to fit into the game world.

Character creation

There are some limits to character creation specific to this game. Most are geographical:

No oriental characters. They are too far away to be hanging around in Atlantis. The same is true of Dragonborn and Kolbolds.

Trident Trading (the employers bankrolling the ship) Are afraid of sending Far Realm followers into Space (and closer to the Far Realm, they think) so: No Far Realm/Aberration/Psionic based characters.

This is a heavily human centric world, so non humans will be limited both in over all numbers and in macro species representatives (ie: one elf, not one of each subspecies). go ahead and send in the race you want, but don't be surprised if I tell you it's taken, or that we have too many non humans already.

The being said, I will take 8 to start, if only to prepare for the inevitable disappearances.

Character level is 3, single classed (unless race says otherwise in the world setting), point buy. Equipment will be standard plus, and done after the character is complete. I haven't quite decided on the "plus" yes.

Oh, and please don't use Int as a dump characteristic. No one is going to play stupid, whatever their sheet says, so please make Int a minimum of 10.

New feats/tools/etc

So far I've only seen Vehicles(Space) as new to the setting. Still, I expect Magic Initiate will be come popular. Both are used in one of the 2 Space Backgrounds provided.

Note that you can NOT start with Vehicle(Space) (in this campaign), but it's probably a good choice for any Helmsman.

Also note that Vehicles(Water) is still useful for any water landing capable ship. Especially if it comes with sails for use at sea.
