Premise
The game is meant to be an introduction to the new Spelljammer rules for 5e from the standpoint of groundlings making a first trip into space. It uses my home brew setting, based on Earth with the legends and myths being real (more or less). I've expanded that into the solar system a bit, although I don't really have much myth to fall back on. Still, Mars is warlike, Venus is overgrown, etc.
The characters will have a small ship, capable of supporting an optimal crew of 5 (one ballista, one captain, one helm's man), although actual crew may be as many as 8 to start, requiring more frequent planetary visits to refresh the atmosphere envelope.
