The Solar System

It has occurred to me that knowing where you are in relation to moving bodies over a period of time that might become months or more can get tricky if we do it all "theater of the mind". So I will set positions around their orbits for the known planets and Ceres now, using the Day 1 of the trip as the zero point.

There are about 13 planets on the Orrery (it should show all dwarf planets going out until the Astral border is reached), but past Jupiter is for later, after you've exhausted your astronomer's knowledge of such things. Or after you've decided you don't care.

Distance will be filled in once you have some idea of distances in Wildspace.

Starting at 12 O'Clock high I will roll percentages around the orbit. Multiple by 3.6 for degrees for the math, later.

The Sun

Mercury 17%

Venus 43%

Earth/Moon 72%

Mars  72%

Ceres 82%

Jupiter 68%

Earth's Moon

Mere minutes away from Earth by Spelljammer.

A rock ball with no water. the whole place looks odd from space but it's unclear why.

Rumor of a "rules light" oasis port on the Darkside/Farside. Unknown what it's an oasis from.

Edit: The odd look is rumored to be caused by a lack of air.

Note the light of a full moon is .1% of sunlight

Ceres Station

The planet Ceres, in the Asteroid belt. The port of Ceres, around a very large equatorial lake (Lake Ceres).
257 million miles from sun
13% Earth Light intensity (Dim)

Planetary diameter is approximately 300 miles.
Atmosphere is 30 miles deep.
Climate is moderate around the area of Lake Ceres.
Lighting is Dim during the day, and moonless black at night.

Dock fees are sp per 100' or part of a ship's length, per day.
The Dockmaster is the go-to office for any dealings with ships, or reporting of issue found off planet. They, apparently, include a coroner.

460.36 million miles from sun
4% Earth light Intenstiy from the sun

Inhabited by giants.

It has several moons. No information on them, as yet. One is Fire body providing Earth intensity light
