Akina's alarm went off at 5:30 as it always did. She rose bright and cheery. Today was a big day that Akina had been anticipating for months. Today she was scheduled to meet Professor Maple and start her official Pokcmon journey! She hopped out of bed and rushed to the washroom to get ready. As she finished brushing and styling her hair she heard her bedroom door open and a moment later felt Pikachu rubbing themselves against her shins.

"Pika, pika..." Pikachu purred.

"Good Morning!" Akina smiled and scooped Pikachu up onto the counter. After a quick brush, which Pikachu seemed to thoroughly enjoy, Akina scooped up her smartphone. "Selfie!"

"Pika!" Pikachu cried as they leapt onto Akina's shoulder and posed for the picture. She added the newest Pokéshare™ filter before she posted the latest photo to her 1240 followers. She quickly flipped over to Pikachu's account and posted the same photo to their... 10,276 followers!
