had been a long time in coming.  Nearly two weeks since he left the VSD Takayama in the far Bright Jewell Sector.  A week late to the DSDP!  It wasn't his fault one of the *several* shuttles had a hyperspace nav issue, he wasn't a astromech droid.  Was getting pretty annoying being blamed for things that he had nothing to do with.  He exited through the armature and supplied his code cylinder to get his berth; a few extra credits to get a private room. It was irksome enough to be the lowest rank of officer, constantly questioned about his heritage - Thrysian - that made him such a standout.  As if dark skin was somehow wildly rare.  But there was somehow enough different that others would stare, and more senior, especially the mid-tier, officers would stop him to ask/demand to know where he was from, and where he went to academy.  Thyferra's academy wasn't the best either, and the inevitable sneering was starting to get to him.

And now he was transferred from a Star Destroyer to some small corvette in a backwater sector.  Not the career move he was hoping for.  Hopefully, there's be more action here, though he doubted it...
