(ooc: for when it is required.
10:23, Today: Ronald R. Dodaden rolled 2 using 1d6 with rolls of 2.  Staff strike, anyone coming over the line.
- Hopefully it's a Goblin and they die anyway. Ronald needs a combat skill.)

Mungo Mugwort:
OOC: Mungo spends 1 Fate point for another roll on the second arrow. He rolls 2 on 1d6. I think that means he still misses.

Ronald R. Dodaden:

YIKES, both Mungo and Ronald get hit by arrows!

(Ronald and Mungo each lose 1 Toughness.

Ronald, please mark it in your Bio line. Mungo, adjust your character sheet.

Aubree, you're up, then all the NPCs again...)

(In this game, any hit is a success-- they don't "stack."

I'll give the enemies a little extra morale damage, though.)

Aubree takes out a goblin.

The remaining goblin bowman seems hesitant, like maybe it's time to run for it.

The troll, looking in the bushes for where he knocked Rhoda (and not finding her so far), glances around and realizes he's rather outnumbered...

It's at that moment that Tirien and Rhoda attack...

(14:40, Today: Tirien rolled 10 using 2d6 ((5,5)).

14:40, Today: Rhoda Bracegirdle rolled 13 using 3d6 ((4,6,3)).)

Tirien takes out the final goblin, and Rhoda pops up while the troll is distracted and stabs him good in his leg.

He's still able to fight, but Radagast raises his staff, and the owls come down again-- right for the troll's eyes.

He retreats, running off to the north-- and then falling and rolling, sounds like... felling at least a couple of small trees in the process, in fact, based on the sound of it. (They didn't actually claw at his eyes, though. He waved his hands and kept them away from them. It was enough to start him running, though.)

(Fight is over!)

Ronald raised his arm to protect himself as he spots an arrow at the last moment, missing but the magic of his last bracer catches it, snapping as it did.

He wipes his brow as the bits fall to the floor.

Turning to the others as he finally reacts "That was intense, I'm exhausted."

Mungo winces as he carefully pulls out the arrow that hit him, and says, "Well, at least I came through alive. I always knew adventures could involve wounds, but this is my first. I am glad it is no worse than it is. If someone could bind it up, or heal it if someone has the power, I would be grateful. It is good that we came through the fight as well as we did."

Radagast steps forward. "I can help with healing, if need be, Aubree..."

Re: In-Game Thread: WILDERLAND: The Mountains of Mirkwood

He'd never met a 'Real' Wizard before, well, He'd met a couple like himself and Aubree but Radagast, from tales and what Aubree said, was a 'Real' Wizard. He wasn't so much awe struck as just lost for words, he sang, of course he sang but that wasn't talking, it was a way to get by so you didn't have to talk for a meal or to get out of a tricky situation. So he listened, he was good at that too.

Mungo smiles gratefully at Radagast and says "Thank you very much, Master Wizard."

"Well, it's perfectly appropriate, considering what you are all doing here..." Radagast pauses. "What are you all doing here, again? Lagmal hasn't had time to explain fully. Something about treasure? Spider treasure...?"

"Wards, protective even if that means causing harm to those trying to cause harm to me. Trinkets and lines." Without using magic, he demonstrates his line technique where he joins curving lines to create a more defensible space. Then shows the broken bracer bits and e plains about those too.

"Mostly I sing when I create, I sing my poems, my Chants. I need to learn more, flying like a bird would be neat, I've not worked that one out yet"

He was enamoured by the Ancient Wizard, which had a knock on effect of more respect or affection for his companion, Aubree

Tirien looks around. "...We should not linger here. Word will spread of our location-- and that we found what we sought."

"Old Lagmal and I can draw them away," Radagast suggests. "Lay a false trail as if to Tawaroth, the Elf-King's halls? Or perhaps west, as if you thought to head toward Lorien? They may not all be fooled, but perhaps it might cause your pursuers to split up in searching for you?"
