Rebecca Prowers:
Heck coming with just a first and last name for my character was bad enough.
I feel you. Choosing a name is probably my least favorite part of chargen. It has to be
just so otherwise it will make me miserable every time I see it on screen. Drives me nuts.
When I GM I usually have a regular stable of NPCs. My players are like, "Oh, I love how we get to know them and uncover their characters over time!" Meanwhile I'm thinking, "Yeah, I just didn't want to name anyone new, so here are the five people you already know."
As for Mr. Warden, being good at fighting is a great start. It often means that you'll survive long enough to be good at something else.
It looks like we're pretty well-rounded so far:

Ralden: Warrior Necromancer
Alonder Gimbel: Vowed/Healer
