Skills
First an apology, folks, if it seems I'm being a hard ass on skills. Yes, in some cases some of the skills you wouldn't have. Not realistic for a high school kid to be a ship's weapons expert, for instance.
But, mostly, it's because you folks are using the GCS in large part, and I'm using the book with descriptions of the skills. I'm trying to find out WHY you want a skill so I can direct you to the right one. That's why I ask for an explanation for most of them, instead of just disallowing them outright (although in a couple cases I've done that as well, mostly for combat skills that wouldn't make sense even WITH an explanation).
Now, to be fair, I may well be wrong on some of them. That's fine as long as I'm wrong consistently and you know about it ahead of time. Which is where we're at.
So please, bear with me. I'm just trying to get you a character that can do what you think it can.
