The Inn of the Dying Minotaur (OOC Thread)

I wanted to send a quick update to everyone who has sent in an application to the game. I’ve received a number of high quality requests to join and I anticipate having answers to everyone who expressed interest in participating this evening. Thank you to everyone for their applications and their patience.

You sound like another lover of Greyhawk! I'm running a wizard, Yngvar the Mad.

The Inn of the Dying Minotaur (OOC Thread)

Greetings all! Who doesn't love the Flanaess?  :)

I do not have a character concept just yet, though I'm leaning toward a fighting class (fighter, paladin, ranger).  Yngvar has claimed wizard so far - anyone else set on a particular class yet?

Also, any preferred races?  I'd rather not end up with a troupe of 4-6 elves, for example. ;)

In reply to Pasha the Grey (msg # 6):

99% of the time, I play humans. I'll have to look up the Lendore's, I always played in Keoland/Geoff or Tenh or Greyhawk.

Just for everyone’s information, the opening of the campaign presumes that the adventurers are traveling to Lendore Isle for the first time, so in terms of origin, your characters can be from anywhere within the Flanaess.

I'll be playing an elf, and a fighter/magic-user at that. Parts of the Lendore Isles have a large elven population (yes I am a Greyhawk lover!), so it fits.

In reply to Duranor (msg # 9):

Yngvar is from Nevond-Nevnend in the Duchy of Tenh. Nystul was his Master when he was a youngster. He is acquainted with one or two of the Circle, but does not know them and is not close to them, just met them, carrying messages for his master. When the barbarians came down from the north and laid siege to the city, he fled through The Pale. He has been traveling since. He is a Flan, of large size! He is 5'10", a good half head to a head taller than most of his race.

He worships Mok-slyk, The World Serpent of the Ancient Brethren.
