CHARACTER CREATION
ARCHETYPES
Either go with the rule book's Archetypes--
(Criminal, Doctor, Farmer, Homemaker, Kid, Law Enforcer, Nobody, Outcast, Politician, Preacher, Scientist, Soldier...)
--or just create your own (determining your own Key Attribute and Skill, and offering which Talent to start with...).
ISSUES
This is whatever is problematic or challenging for your character (ie. longing for company, angers too easily, addicted to sugar...).
You can easily change your Issue during the game.
DRIVE
What makes you keep on going when things get hard.
Once per session you can use your Drive for a +2.
You can easily change your Drive during the game.
TALENTS
Each Archetype starts with a choice of specific Talents (freely created 'archetypes' must see with the GM which Talent can be taken) of which you can choose one.
Then you are free to take any Talent at all with XP (even the starting Talents of any Archetype).
Each Talent has a prerequisite--which is part of your RP background.
HEALTH
Everybody is made the same--and has 3 Health points.
