Didn't see Zoe's post, though that doesn't matter too much, I think.  But doesn't Alex also give a bonus to Zoe, since she's actively watching?

The max bonus you can get from PCs/NPCs is +3. Zoe got +4 due to special dog talent.

The Animal Companion thing is a once per session, yes?  (Hope I'm not being a pest, just trying to sort out the rules now that I finally have a copy.)

Right, I keep seeing 'session' in the book so I typed that automatically.  I wanted to make sure I understood how all of that worked so that Alex can help out with the scouting.  If Zoe can be persuaded to let anyone else help.  ;)

I'm all for Alex joining in on the scouting fun! Let's make it a group effort and see what kind of trouble we can get into together!
Regarding convincing Zoe... She's a bit of a wild card, I guess? But that's what makes her Zoe! :)

Before I post the results of entering the store I need a statement here:

1)How are you getting in? The door is locked(Barricaded actually), but there is a broken window-with shards-in the back.

2)Who is going in?

3)Describe the processes as best you can.

1) Try the door, if locked go through the window.

2) Matt will go in. Hopefully Ryder will join him, or anyone else with decent movement/combat skills.

3) I'll clear the shards from the window with my axe, wait a moment to listen for sounds from inside. If it's seems safe, climb through the window frame.

1. Sean will check the back of the store.

2. Sean will go in.

3. Once the shards are cleared, Sean will look for anything to be used as a weapon then cautiously enter to start looking for any viable supplies.

1. Wait for Matt to clear the glass.

2. Ryder will go in through the frame.

3. Since he's the one built with mobility and combat in mind, I guess we let him go first.
