Wow. That door. It was like it wasn't even there. Like it was paper. How strong was she now?

She didn't have time to think about it! Roof it was. She climbed as quickly as she could, then ran across the roof towards the next building, the one she thought was closest.

She didn't even slow down, just took a running leap and tried to clear the gap.

So a 1... Not sure what the opposition is to leap between buildings but if there is an aspect she can invoke (reluctant super strong powerhouse?) and it helps I'll do so.

OOC: You can use reluctant super powerhouse if you can explain how strength is going to help you jump across.

Also remember Fate points allow you to edit story details so maybe you do fail but you don't fail in a way where you fall. You could spend a FATE point to do that or spend a FATE point to invoke your aspect if you can explain how. Right now FATE points are free so free feel to use them as you see.

I would say strong legs push her higher and further than she expected she'd be able to jump? And happily spend the fate point, hoping a +3 gets me over!

You are able to jump over the building barely making it but enough to catch you step as you jump across the buildings you land with a rolling thud. You look around and see another ladder and door that is chained but leads to the stairs down below.

What are you going to do? If you take the stairs make a physique.

Apartment doors were one thing but chains were another. Still, she had to try. She needed to get off the rooftop before anyone saw her.

She rushed to the door and tried to force it open.

You slam into the door making it fly open but this time the door stays on the hinges but breaks the chain holding it. You stop and listen for a second to see if you hear foot steps but you do not. You phone buzzes as you begin walking down the stairs to the building.

"You need to hurry they are already aware you are in that building and going through the lobby right now. Find an elevator or something you can possibly use to get down the building. Grab new clothes if you can."


The stairs lead down to another level.

OOC: Remind me what I can do with fate points to lightly edit a scene. I want another apartment door where I can get clothes, and a window exit to a fire escape.

An elevator seemed like a really bad idea, so she decided on taking 'something else' she could use to get out of the building down to ground level. Fire escape worked last time, so ... try again?

She tried a door, no point in smashing it down if it was open, right? It led to a nice apartment, she rushed into the bedroom, hoping no one was there. And hoping a big guy lived there. She was apparently in luck on both fronts, and quickly raided his dresser, stripping completely naked and removing every stitch of clothing 'Lily' had given her, then tossing on a pair of sweat pants that were a little tight across the seat but super loose in the waist (draw strings! Her friends!)

As she pulled a t-shirt down over her incredibly buff upper body she realized that ... somebody was home. There was a guy staring at her from the entry to the bedroom, watching in stunned silence as this hugely muscled but still kind of beautiful woman pulled on his t-shirt over her swollen upper body.

She sighed, smiled and just outright said, "Hi. I'm sorry. I really need your help to get out of here. Do you have a fire escape?"

The muscled man looks at her and points toward the window with some plants. You make you way to it and open it giving a rather easy tug as not to break it and start heading down. This time you don't see anyone on the outside but you do see people who run by every now and then, they seem to trying to find you.

OOC: Make a stealth roll if you are trying to sneak down. Make an athletics roll if you want to try to get down as fast as possible but makes more noise.

"Thanks. Sorry, I know it's all crazy, I'll... try to get them back to you as soon as I can. Do you have a hoodie?" She found one and pulled it over her head, covering herself a bit better.

"Do me a favor? Can you take my old clothes and put them in the elevator?" the ones 'Lily' had given her. "Then send it to, I don't know, some other floor. Thanks. I appreciate it. See ya..." If they were tracking her from the clothes maybe that would buy her some time?

She moved down the fire escape as quietly as she could, then tried to blend into the crowd, trying to walk as far away from this neighborhood as she could as fast as she could.

As you sneak down you are surprised to find that you can make it down a few floors of the fire stairs without being noticed. You do see a good bit of actively as you quietly move down floor to floor. You manage to make you way about as close as you feel comfortable but you could push you luck and possibly make it down more floors.

A window is open pretty close to where you are. You sit and listen and don't hear anyone. You believe that they might have just left the window open possibly for a pet.

OOC: My options are back into the building or try to stealth down further? Is there another building with a fire escape I could try to jump to? How far up am I? Could I just try to jump down?

OOC: You are mid way up from the bottom of the building. You can do any number of things. You can attempt to jump across you are looking at a 2 difficulty similar to the roof.

Clearly this building wasn't the building she wanted! Ok.. OK one more jump. One more big jump then it's all better. She gathered herself and leapt off the fire escape across to the fire escape of the nearest building next to this one.

She gathered herself and using her powerful leg muscles, leapt across the gap...

You are able to leap to the next fire escape and manage to get down safely without much problem. You manage to make it down to the street level. You look out to make sure you don't see anyone coming for you before you realize that there is a truck facing the street with a few armed guards. People are gathering around watching but you can see they are waiting for you to show.

You go more towards the back only to find much of the same some guards looking up and down the street for you.

What do you want to do?

All she could do was try to blend into the crowd and walk on by. She put her hood up, hoped they were looking for someone with her old clothes and tried her best to look like a 'big guy' walking up and into the foot traffic.

As you try to make your way out of the back gates to one of the apartments you hear behind you.

"Roger. We have her in sight. Moving in to approach."

Two soldiers have noticed you out the corner if your eyes. It will be a matter of minutes before others will be upon you. You have two choices start running again or possibly fight.

Gabi, still not used to her new abilities, is really not in the mood to take on trained soldiers with more coming. She runs as fast as she can away from them.

You run down the street dodging out of the way of people on the sidewalk. You manage to make you way before coming to a crossroads that can take you either into an alley or down another block left or right. Both ways seem clear but the street itself leaves very little room to hide other than the shops.

What do you want to do?

She made a snap decision to duck into a shop. It didn't really matter which one. Once inside she moved through, to the back and then out through the back door into an alley where hopefully they wouldn't expect her to go.

While you duck into the shop you see some of the soldier run by. It seems for the time you have bought yourself time but not much. The shop owner looks at you turning around and asking, "What is going on out there?"

Gabi looked left and right, then focused on the shop owner. She tried to plead with her, looking for a sign she might take pity on her.

"OK! Hi. Please. You have to help me. They're after me they're chasing me. Soldiers. I ... I think I'm .. one of them. The people with abilities. That's why.. I just woke up like this! I don't know what happened! I have to hide. Or run or... Please. Help me." she pleaded

She poured out her heart to the woman, trying to tug on her sense of pity.

Not sure this makes sense but...

Tried to use empathy to create an advantage, the woman taking pity on Gabi. Got a 0 after modifiers... urgh.

Then using rapport to try to convince her to help me. So, got a ...0 there too. Unless I succeeded in creating that advantage and get a free invoke!
