Magic / Known Spells


Known Sky Magic


Wind Cutter (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2 MP
- Cooldown: 1 Minute
- Effect: Sharpen the air around you into a blade and launch it at one enemy, dealing damage and causing the target to bleed, which in turn will cause them to lose health naturally as the battle wears on.

Feather Fall (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2-4 MP
- Cooldown: 10 Minutes
- Effect: Choose up to 3 players or creatures within range (50 feet) who are mid-fall. After the first, the caster must expend 1 MP for each additional target, for the spell to effect them as well. All targets selected this way begin to fall slowly, drifting side to side like a feather on their way down. In most cases, this spell will negate all damage taken from a fall, but in extreme cases it will half the damage.

Aftershock (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2 MP
- Duration: 10 Seconds
- Cooldown: 2 Minutes
- Effect: Causes a minor aftershock, shaking the earth around the caster in a fifty foot radius, dealing damage to nearby enemies with a chance of them losing their footing and falling to the ground.

Grasping Vines (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 5 MP
- Duration: 1 Minute
- Cooldown: 4 Minutes
- Effect: Depending on the surrounding terrain, either vines will drop from nearby trees or roots will spring from the ground and latch onto up to three nearby enemies, dealing damage and pinning them in place for 1 minute.

Aqua Shot (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2 MP
- Cooldown: 1 Minute
- Effect: Draw the moisture out of the air, creating an orb of water to launch at one enemy, dealing damage as well as a 25% chance to knock down your target, due to the force of the shot.

Veil Of Mist (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 5 MP
- Duration: 2 Minutes
- Cooldown: 4 Minutes
- Effect: Cast a thick mist over the battlefield, enveloping you, your allies and your enemies alike, in up to a fifty foot radius. The caster decides in the moment which beings caught within the mist are able to see through it, and which ones have their vision impaired by the mist.

- Effect: Launch a small ball of fire at one enemy, dealing damage and burning your target, which will cause them to suffer further damage for the next three rounds of combat.

Flash (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 5 MP
- Duration: 2 Minute
- Cooldown: 4 Minutes
- Effect: Boost your movements with a flash of fire, doubling your overall speed for the duration of the spell.

Harden (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2 MP
- Duration: 1 Minute
- Cooldown: 1 Minute
- Effect: Hardens the caster's skin for a short time, reducing damage taken from physical weapons for the duration of the spell.

Bolster (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 5 MP
- Duration: 2 Minutes
- Cooldown: 4 Minutes
- Effect: Grants a minor boost to the caster's STR and DEX stats for a short time, which enhances their overall strength, speed and reaction time for the duration of the spell. This allows one to move more quickly, lift items that are normally too heavy or even block attacks from enemies who boast a greater speed than the caster.

Mind Bomb (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2 MP
- Duration: 1 Minute
- Cooldown: 3 Minutes
- Effect: Cause a psychic explosion to go off in the mind of one target, rattling their senses and dealing damage, while stunning them in the process.

Detect Life (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 5 MP
- Cooldown: 5 Minutes
- Effect: Use your connection to the spirit world as a sixth sense, reaching out with your mind to sense any creatures or people nearby, within a 100 foot radius. If a creature or person within range is using a spell or skill that enhances their sneaking ability, it will be a battle of Wills. If your Willpower is higher than the target, you will be able to detect them. If not, they will remain hidden.

Radiant Bomb (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2 MP
- Cooldown: 2 Minutes
- Effect: Bend light into a ball of energy, and hurl it at your enemy. Radiant Bomb explodes upon impact, dealing damage to up to 3 enemies in a ten foot radius, with a 25% chance to blind those struck by the light for the next round of combat.

Healing Hands (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 5 MP
- Duration: 20 Seconds
- Cooldown: 2 Minute
- Effect: Lay your hands on a single creature or person and heal 1% of their HP for every second you maintain contact over the duration of the spell, with a maximum of 20%.

Curse Of The Sloth (Beginner Spell)
- Cost: 2 MP
- Duration: 1 Minute
- Cooldown: 2 Minutes
- Effect: Drastically reduces one enemy's speed for the duration of the spell, allowing slower players to attack while it lasts.

Shadow Snare (Lvl 5 Dark Magic)
- Cost: 5 MP
- Duration: 1 Minute
- Cooldown: 4 Minutes
- Effect: Black tendrils spring up from one enemy's shadow, latching onto its legs. The target is pinned to that spot and takes damage as the tendril leech away a bit of their life force.
