I have invited another four players/characters for the maximum of six.

As neither of the boys are here anymore, I figure that their quest never was introduced to Kara and Sigrun. And that way the six of you can spend the festivities to get to know each other.

If we look at the main map, there are a few to choose from, the distance between two opposing sides of a hex is 10 miles. So the straight line distance is about 40 miles. And you would have to cross a river to get there. Depending on how fast you are, how much you carry, how far you want to walk in a day, and how well you can swim across a river with all of your stuff, you could walk that distance in 2-5 days. And if you carry very little and are into endurance hiking, you could do it in 1. I doubt anyone would try to run a double marathon if they had to carry their own supplies.

And if you ride or take a boat, it will be even faster.

I do apologize about my delay in posting- After submitting my RTJ I had a freak accident that involved my right hand being pinned aggressively at two points. After spending a week in a soft brace took it off too early and re-injured it at work. It is mostly my pointer finger, making typing hellish. But after 2 weeks we are way better. Still bets floating around if my nail will pop off or not.

I'm really sorry to hear that.  It is always hard to let things heal and I hope that you recover fully.

I just noticed that the number I've been adding to the elf's attacks has been wrong and I have updated my posts. This meant that after two laps Frost was in the lead. But because of her spectacular rolls after her first shot, she gained the lead with her third shot. And is still in the lead now.

I will be posting IC this evening. Probably later than normal.

The next competition will be the Reindeer Race which will be determined by the sum of five Dexterity checks, with proficiency bonus if sled is one of your proficiencies. If you are not familiar with reindeer, the roll will be at a disadvantage.

Are there any locals who are familiar with reindeer in the group?

I think Devron is just happy being a spectator and getting to know the others and the town a bit.  He has also already lost more gold than he would like to have, so probably no more betting :)
