Bloddwyn ni Josef:
I say bossheart... is what I've done for my character sheet along the right lines or is it too deranged?

I'll check tomorrow and let you know.

Kirith'riina:
Hakesh I added a part that we witnessed recently in the Character Creation thread.  Might have to scroll up to find it.

Found it, nice bit of worldbuilding there. I liked it. Though that was...interesting to say the least.

Completely understandable, I hope you and the family feel better soon!

So guys, when it comes to class I'll probably just decide after all of you and play something that we could use, if we're short on something. Did y'all decide on something? I believe I heard something about a Vermissian Knight, we lost our Deadwalker now, but that's about all I know :)

The fun thing is that the classes can skew some significantly different directions when you make your initial selection of abilities. That shores up party weaknesses pretty well (especially given that every class has a minor that is 'training in this skill' and options for being trained in domains).

As mentioned above, I'm leaning Hound right now, but I'm not locked in.

I'm leaning toward Heretic or Junk Mage.

I believe I read back that Bloddwyn was going Junk Mage.

Hey everyone, I'm still dealing with both my boys sick, and lack of sleep because of it.

If I can have you all get your characters done, so that on Monday I start the game.

We can do the questions while we play.

I'm sorry about this. Just don't have much creative juices when I'm running low on sleep.

Crimson going Cleaver clarifies some of my Hound choices. Right now, I'm looking at the following options, resulting a in Clint Eastwood type who just. keeps. going.

Major: Unstoppable
Minor 1: Sergeant (+1 Blood armor and declare an NPC/monster pays attention to me)
Minor 2: Kill Count (training in Kill, killing reduces stress)
Minor 3: ???

There are a fair few options for the third minor. I'd expect to go with one of the skill or domain minors to fill in a gap we'd otherwise have. There's an option that'd give me Evade and help everybody who takes an evade action until my next turn, for example, or Marshal (which would give me compel and hooks us up with jobs when we hit havens).

I'm definitely open to suggestions to avoid overlap or create interesting tensions! To me, the calling to adventure combined with the Hound class suggests somebody who ends up seen as a leader whether they want to be or not, and I've tried to lean into that idea.

Yep.

I'm going for
MAJOR ABILITY    -  Curse of the Sky Court.
MINOR ABILITIES  -  Back pocket arcana
                 -  Mark of the weaver
                 -  Rust and Iron

I'm hoping the first Back Pocket Arcana stacks with the Overstuffed Coat.

I'm all set. I took:

Major - Crave  Debt is just quantified want; you cut out the middleman. Roll Compel+Haven to cast this spell on an NPC you’re speaking to; on a success, you can instill a great desire for something in them. If the thing they want is unusual for them, casting this spell is Risky. On a success, they now fiercely want whatever it is you’ve specified until the end of the current situation.

Minor - Addict When you cast CRAVE, the target will desire the subject of your choosing until the end of the session. If they don’t get what they want by the end of the session, they either descend into violence to acquire it or lose their mind in despair (GM’s choice).

Minor - Creative Book-Keeping A flexible grasp on reality means you have something for every occasion on hand. Gain +2 Supplies Protection.

Minor - Priest of Incarne Most Incarnadines pay lip service to their god whilst paying off their debt; you’ve bought in wholesale, and you understand the terrible power of your patron. Gain the Religion domain. Once per session, when you visit a shrine of Incarne and preach to the faithful, refresh equal to the size of the shrine (D4 for cupboard- sized devotionals, D12 for a glorious temple). The Red Market is too fractious and shifting to act as a shrine for the purposes of this ability.

Sounds like some good abilities y'all! I'm still pondering, I'm trying to figure out what direction I want to go for, there's plenty of fun routes to take the Cleaver.

I haven't found it in the book but does anybody know what damage dice Unarmed is? I'm wondering if it's even worth to grab some Abilities which amplify my Unarmed combat, I like the flavour of it but I don't want to be a sitting duck :D

When the GM goes a week without logging in, that's generally a sign of game death. Hopefully it's a blip in this case, but the odds aren't great.
