Whoa, a whole string of posts while I was writing my one (over about an hour, dinner got in the way)! I'll need to add/reply to that.

I am a big fan of RPol just for its "WAIT SOMEONE POSTED WHILE YOU WERE WRITING!" feature.

Yeah, that's why my posting is so light on the weekends.  Wife and kids deserve more than me hitting F5.  Work now, there's plenty of time to post in between what I'm doing in the office.

Also FYI in the Sinister Secret thread, Simon has left the table to go mope in bed and fall asleep.  You guys can settle the leadership thing and Simon will be ok with whatever you decide.  As much as Simon can ever be subject to things like rules and orders.

I agree. I'm mostly posting Standard Operating Procedure stuff, so we can at least get that sorted before we go any further. Discussing it after we cross the threshold is a fools' errand.

The houses you've seen (at the keep, on the road, etc) have normal-ish proportions, for medieval architecture. You can walk down an ordinary hall one by one, comfortably, but could stand shoulder to shoulder if you wanted to.

First adventure: home invasion!

If you have rations left over from before the journey - they don't last indefinitely. It's salted meat, cheese, and hardtack; only the hardtack is remotely edible after a month and a half on the road, and that's marginal IF you kept it dry. The weevils have found it anyway, so make sure to smack it against the table to shake out the worst of them before you jam it in your mouth to wait for it to get soft enough to eat.

Probably better to say you ate it on the road.
