Aerin is a rather pretty female elf.  In addition to pleasing facial features, she sports tousled auburn that helps give her an "everyday" look, which stands in contrast to the haughtiness often ascribed (rightly or wrongly) to elves.

Augmenting her pleasant physical appearance is her personality: she is bubbly, is always smiling, and (by elven standards at least), gregarious.

Covering well-worn but serviceable leather armor is a light cloak, almost like a poncho.  In tandem, these garments hide a very slender frame.  She is so thin and so short (4 1/2 feet tall) that she doesn't appear to be particularly strong . . . .

The garments also cover (among other things) a long, thin sword on one hip and a dagger on the other.  She carries a backpack and a bow. (TBD whether it's a crossbow or a short bow.)
