Winter Mane

Background
Winter Mane entered the world, his arrival marked by the striking presence of albinism. From the moment he took his first breath, his hair and skin radiated an otherworldly paleness, bestowing on him a name that mirrored his ethereal appearance. But the tribe, gripped by uncertainty and superstition, could not decipher whether he was blessed or cursed by the spirits that wove their lives together.

Shunned for his extraordinary appearance, Winter Mane grew up on the fringes, a solitary figure dwelling in the outskirts of the small tribal society. Whispers of his enigmatic origins followed him like shadows, casting doubt upon his place among his kin. Only his unwavering big sister, Little Mother, defied the tribal prejudices and embraced him without reservation, providing solace amidst the sea of judgment.

As the years unfolded, Winter Mane's physical form evolved into that of a formidable young man, standing tall and strong. Though his emotional intelligence eluded him, his mind sparkled with a keen intellect, compensating for the intricacies of human connection with an exceptional cognitive prowess.

Throughout his upbringing, he honed a remarkable skill, transforming the rugged materials amassed by the tribe into intricate tools, formidable weapons, and other invaluable artifacts. The tribe, however still dismissive, can no longer deny the worth of his creations. Little Mother sees in his burgeoning talent the key to securing his place within the tribe's closely-knit society.

In his possession at all times, Winter Mane carries a cherished artifact—a small musical instrument fashioned from sticks and twine, built by himself in his early adolescence. When the twine is strummed, a beautiful, soothing hum resonates from within, offering him solace when needed.
