Kelvin 'Kel' Klanman is a very well known figure from before the Haze. Aside from being a Billionaire, he is the founder of the 'Earth First' movement. That is, Earth for earthlings, and earthlings only. Granted the movement has connections to bigots, Neo Nazis, and eugenics supporters. None directly with 'Kel' himself. He was one of the few people to oppose Alpha Man's presence when the hero first publically appeared.
