Description: Haldan is approximatey 6'1" tall with flowing blond hair and a short beard. His regular attire consists of a well made woolen tunic, short pants, leggings, boots and a warm cloak, but when geared up for war, he dons a mail shirt and carries a finely crafted long sword and a large shield.


Background: Born and raised in the fabled city of Dale at the foot of the Lonely Mountain, Haldan is the son of a prosperous merchant known for trading fine goods between the Men of the Lake and the Dwarves of Erebor. Growing up amidst the vibrant markets and diverse cultures of Dale, Haldan was exposed to the art of negotiation, commerce, and the tales of far-off lands from an early age.

These tales of distant lands and the wonders that lay beyond the borders of the Wilderland stirred a restless longing within him. Leaving behind the comforts of his family and the safety of Dale, Haldan and his trustly horse, Silvermane, joined a caravan of merchants and traders that was heading west to Eriador. Their journey took them through the dense and shadowy depths of Mirkwood to the Anduin Vale and the lands of the Beornings.  Pressing onward, they traversed the treacherous Misty Mountains, facing biting winds, towering peaks, and the dangers that lurked therein. The rugged terrain forged his resilience and strengthened his resolve, but they made it across with minimal incident and continued along the East Road to the bustling town of Bree.

In Bree, Haldan encountered a diverse mix of peoples and cultures, each with their own stories and histories. Drawn to the camaraderie of the Prancing Pony Inn, he became acquainted with travelers, adventurers, and even a few mysterious figures who shared tales of Middle Earth that stirred his imagination. Fueled by a thirst for knowledge and adventure, Haldan bade farewell to his companions, determined to remain in Bree and explore the region known as the Trollshaws. The road ahead was uncertain, but the young Northman was determined to carve his own destiny in the vast and rich tapestry of Middle Earth.
