Narjan is of average height and weight. He wears a chain hauberk and quite an assortment of weapons (shield, dagger, two throwing axes, a javelin and a broadsword).
Narjan appears strong and fit and of average agility. He is a bit slow to follow, rather unobservant and he certainly is not a born leader or charming seducer. All qualities that would have made him a perfect town guard or watchman. However, he soon resented the mockeries of his peers and swore to come back one day with a hoard of treasure and just show them. Needless to say he was met with hilarity.
And so he packed his meagre gear and set out. He would not hear the snickering that he had not even thought to buy rations or some light source but regretted that fact a couple of hours later.
The notions of becoming a hero were soon met with reality, the simple necessity to earn a living. He has spent a couple of years working as a merchant guard and has thus aquired some skills with driving carts and wagons and the handling of ox and draft horse.
Narjan is actually a likeable fellow, easy to join in laughter with jokes once he has understood them. Just in case he smiles a lot, hoping to make a good first impression. He is courageous, maybe a bit too much on the reckless side of things. Given his past experience with other folk he is wary with new companions but once his trust is earned he is loyal to a fault.
