A tall bony looking man with kind eyes, Soren always looks as if he is in a daydream and looking beyond what is infront of him. He has long light brown hair and striking pale blue eyes. He walks carefully, as if constantly having to avoid a large crowd even when he is in a empty area. He wears long flowing robes that hide most of his build.

Basic Background/Story Information:
Soren grew up in an orphanage, never knowing his own parents but never pining for them as he cared deeply for the adults who ran the orphanage as well as the other children there who he saw as siblings. As a child he was seen as rather odd, always drifting off mid sentence and often staring at things that were not there. It was upon questioning that it was found that Soren would see the spirits from the Other Side as clearly as one could see another person. He spoke with them, made friends with them and helped them with communicating between realities.

As he grew he dedicated himself to this task, acting as a messenger between worlds. Many had tasks unfinished, others wanted to warn about things happening, some simply to be heard. He channeled their voices without question, even when it put him at risk as he has always been convinced that no harm would befall him so long as he showed respect.

He is not one for piracy, however the world of pirates always astounds him as its often a world with turmoil and stories. Stories and events that make a large impact on the world on the other side, stories that need to be carried on in memory of others or as warnings.

By nature Soren is very calm, gentle spoken and never seems to be in a hurry. He is a pacifist as much as he can be, although can channel aggressive magic in order to defend himself or others. But he dislikes having to do such a thing. Preferring speaking through conflicts.

Magic: Spirit Magic, channeling, clairsentience, premonitions. Much of his power comes through access to the other side.

Weakness: Having one eye in the other world can make staying present in one very hard, Soren often finds himself distracted between conversations and long term focus can be hard for him. He can maintain focus during rituals and meditations only because he can cut of the visual stimuli. You can't talk yourself out of everything and Soren's pacifist nature can be bad.
