Isabeau is a distant cousin of King Arthur and is from Brittany.  She was sent to Camelot because she would not marry a Duke that was many years her senior.  He was known to be a cruel man and had gone through 7 wives all having horrible deaths.  So she was put on a ship by a benevolent benefactor which shall remain unnamed and sent to Arthur's Court where she is under the King's protection and is a handmaiden to Queen Guinevere.

Isabeau was secretly taught to read and write by a Nun at the Nunnery of Her Lady of Mercy when she was a young girl.  Along with this she was taught the skills of a Lady and does beautiful tapestries and sewing of clothing.

Isabeau loves to be outdoors, to go hawking, riding, walks in the woods and has a bit of an adventurous spirit.  She is intrigued by the mystical arts and a keen learner with the right teacher.  Often she would slip out under a full moon and walk through the massive walled garden in Camelot.  Yet always the lady in Court and throughout the day.

She is shy when she first meets someone for the first time yet does not make snap judgements and let's time take care of how she should feel about a person by their deeds.  Not one to hold a grudge but can be backed into a corner from which she will lose her temper and come out fighting.

Having only one brother who also shall remain unnamed, he made sure that she knew how to handle a dagger and sword to protect herself.  She has keen abilities to put a foe to ground if needs must.

She has never let a male get close enough to her true feelings as she has been properly trained and a marriage set by her father to the aged monster.  So she is untouched and innocent in the ways of love.
