CHARACTER'S BRIEF BACKGROUND:

Morgana didn’t always want Arthur dead. In fact as a child, she found herself rather protective of her half-brother. On several occasions, he’d already be dead without her to save him. But her strength and capability never seemed to be enough for their father. The crown, the throne, Camelot was rightfully hers. Yet, she was cast aside for Arthur. And at every mistake Arthur made, every small misstep, her hatred began to grow. Morgana knew she would have been the ruler Camelot needed. Soon her hatred began to overflow not just at his incompetencies but also his accomplishments. How could he not see that his success was because of her support as a sister?! How could she not receive the honor which is due to her?

Seeking to become more powerful through magic, Morgana sought the knowledge of not only books but Merlin. Under the tutelage of the mysterious Merlin, and of course the manipulation of her feminine wiles, Morgana gained power and ability quickly. Power that could never be enough, but which could and would attain her power over Camelot. She tested the waters, using magic to attempt to make Arthur’s death look like an accident, all the while she played the loving sister. Yet, Arthur continued to thrive.

Morgana decided she needed to take more extreme measures, leaving her home in Camelot under the guise of diplomacy she traveled Albion and neighboring lands in search of supporters and most importantly an army. The sorceress eventually found the perfect fit in Gwynedd. Her army was strong and her people could be swayed. All that she needed was the throne. King Desmond was an easy piece to cast aside. Simple poison had been his end, and her new beginning as Queen Morgana Le Fay.

Now, at her side are the Gywnedd Knights, the calculating Lucrezia Borgias, along with Lancelot her sworn sword. All perfect tools for Arthur’s doom and her rise to power.
