Character Biography: A long time ago, Ricochet Rita was a world famous stuntwoman and driver who's skill and beauty attracted the attention of a vile, tyrannical and utterly insane yellow slug called Mojo, who abducted her to his dimension, a hyper-media madhouse called the Mojoverse (of course). There he spent years torturing, brainwashing and altering her body until her past was erased and she became his righthand warrior, Spiral. Acting as his bodyguard, hunter, warrior and glorified errand-girl, she traveled often to Earth-61664 in order to capture interesting heroes and villains for Mojo's televised gladiator matches. This caused her to tussle with quite a few heroes, and she was that ruthless, powerful bad guy that really put them to the test.
But ultimately, this or that hero would win the day and escape the Mojoverse, and who got the blame? Yeah, that's right. After the twenty-second defeat, the fickle Mojo grew bored with Spiral and left her stranded on Earth, stripped of most of her powers. Emancipated and untethered from her former master, she was adrift and hunted by heroes looking to settle their scores and lock her away. She went underground, tried to keep a low profile working her Body Shoppe, a place where criminals could get cybernetically enhanced for a hefty sum. The time spent away from Mojo's madhouse allowed her to clear her head a little, and she started piecing together her shattered past, following up on fragmented memories of she was before. With the heroes closing in on her and fearing that her former master would come take her away again, she turned herself in to SHIELD, hoping that they might be able to heal her damaged mind and curb her more homicidal urges. And that's how she ended up on a bloody asteroid in space.
