Physical Description: Austin is a tall drink of water, standing 6’2” tall.  He’s got plenty of muscle and weighs about as much as a baby Brahma Bull, about 190 pounds.  He keeps his brown hair pretty short most times and typically has a bit of scruff or five o’clock shadow as some folks say.  Most folks tend to notice his green eyes first or about the same time they see the smile.

Distinguishing Marks: Has a small scar on his forehead and a large scar along the left side of his abdomen.



Personality: Austin’s a downhome kinda guy, always saying please and thank you.  He’ll call you ma’am or sir and it don’t matter how old you are because that’s just showing respect.  He’s the quite type usually, especially when around fancy people or really smart people.  He’ll give you the shirt off of his back if you need and always ready to lend a helping hand.

Back Ground: Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Austin was helping his daddy herd cattle from the time he could walk.  He didn’t much care for school but did well so he wouldn’t disappoint his parents.  He joined the Boy Scouts in first grade as a little Tiger and worked his way up to Eagle.  Among all the work at home, scouts, and school, he still found time to hit the rodeos once he started junior high and that’s been his main love and livelihood.  He lost his father just after graduating high school and instead of going to college, he stayed home to take care of the ranch and watch after his momma.  He’s not had a whole lot of time for romance, though there’s been a bit of it now and then.



Likes: The smell of hay, horses, and leather for sure.  The sound of rain on the roof and low, rumbling thunder.  The thrill of making it to 8 and a good score after an ornery bull tried to shake him.  Oh, can’t forget Momma’s biscuits and gravy!

Dislikes: Disrespect.  Do unto others as the Bible says.  Don’t much care for okra but if Momma makes it, I’ll eat it and be damn grateful.  Snakes are 50/50 with me.  King snakes and the like are good.  Rattlers and Cottonmouths just get shot or head cut off with a shovel.

Strengths: Good heart and strong back, ain’t afraid to get dirty.  Pretty good with hunting, fishing, camping and that sort of thing.

Weaknesses: Hurt animals and girls crying.  Dang it all but I don’t like seeing anyone or anything in pain.

Fears: Not really scared of much.  Don’t like needles and hospitals but sometimes it’s a necessary evil.  Already lost my dad so kinda not looking forward to Momma going Home.

Fun Facts: Went to Canada on a Scout trip once and my group left me behind.  Didn’t mean to but man were they freaking out when they realized it, only to reach camp and find me sitting there waiting on them with a nice dinner already on the fire.

The Perfect Person for You: A gal who’s adventurous and not afraid to get dirty but she’s gotta have a soft heart.  I’d love to meet someone who’d go riding with me and maybe sit by the fire, looking at the stars.  I can clean up and do some fancier things but mostly I just like the little things.
