Physical Description: Rowland Harp is a near perfect balance of power, speed, and endurance. A natural athlete with elite training he is extremely fit. That fitness has served him well in both his civilian and military endeavors. Tall, dark, and objectively handsome, Row doesn't smile often, when he does it's with main character energy.

Distinguishing Marks: Rowland has only his two visible marks. A thick scar on the right side of his neck and faint surgical scars on his left hand. He has no tattoos, visible or otherwise, and has several scars. One from a childhood appendectomy. A gunshot wound located in his left shoulder. And a long cut on the outside of his right thigh.

Personality: Rowland passes the vibe check with most people and is easy to get along with. He's patient and rarely takes things personally, even when it would be easy to do so. He is direct while simultaneously keeping his cool and is solid in a crisis with few things getting to him. Row's mother taught her boys to dress well and for the occasion. He is style conscious, even when he is dressed down and almost always wears a little bling when the occasion calls for it.

Back Ground: Growing up Rowland Harp did what few black kids Born in South Central LA could. He got out. It was a difficult path that took a different course than he and his family had planned. The second of three boys, Row's father and oldest brother were shot during a traffic stop when he was twelve, leaving his mother to raise him and his baby brother. Row grew up quick and like many gifted athletes he turned to sports as a way out. Gifted athletically, he was illegally recruited out of his school district in Crenshaw to play quarterback at Beverly Hills high school. His senior year the Eagles won a state championship and Row was named a top 100 all American. His path out was all but guaranteed when guns altered his life again. This time in the form of a school shooting that left Rowland with reduced range of motion in his throwing arm and ended his athletic pursuits.

With college and the NFL off the table Row turned to military enlistment in the Air Force. His physical gifts landed him in the Air Force's special warfare division as a pararescue specialist. Rowland served his 6 year enlistment with distinction while gaining as much online education as he could. Mustering out Row returned home, leveraged his G.I. Bill and personal savings into a degree and is now working as a paramedic while continuing his education.
